Terre Haute/Indy - Cruise Recommendations

My buddy and I are trying to plan a ad-hoc cruise on Sunday Nov 4.

Sort of a "Lets get out and drive our cars while the weather is still good"

Our plan is to get a group of guys/cars to meet in Terre Haute and then cruise somewhere , bar, restaurant, diner that is in about an 1 hour travel time from Terre Haute.

Any recommendations, car friendly.

Any of you want to join us... or meet us??

If ya want to come on over to Indy we can always open up Bubbas Trailer Park for a spam sandwich , coke and a moon pie. maybe find a local hot rod or two?

I won't be able to make it, but Union Jack's near the speedway is a pretty good pizza place and bar along with a ton of racing history and racing memoribilla.

 

Is this the place near the I-265 Highway, it has a sprint car mounted on the sign? I think I have p***ed it on the way to the drag strip?

 

It is at I465 and crawfordsville rd. It has a Legends car mounted on the sign. It sits between BW3 and Hardeez.

 

Yup I meant 465, ..... I never did answer Bubba's invite... I would love to come to the trailer park, but I do not want you to open it up unless we have more than a couple of us coming, but thats up to you.

 

No problem, i live very close and just need to know how much spam to pick up.
It will be pretty casual, spam, white bread (thats what its called where i am from), bottled cokes and choc moon pies.

I got plenty of projects to discuss just laying around etc.

If you are for sure coming lets do it.

I had planned to go back and respond to your quest for Indy actiion once I got all the way through the new posts. If you guys want to drive out to Brownsburg, I will be at my shop all day Saturday. All of the drag race teams are out on the left coast so no action there but there are a couple of good places to eat here.

If you made it a saturday trip it could end at Radio Radio in fountain square, nice clean smoke free bar that will have I promise you the best band you have ever seen.
