    '58 Chevy Apache - 283 w/ T-5
    '27 Ford Coupe - 8BA flathead (50 model) w/ '39 top shift ******
'50 Ford Fordor - 5.7 (350) Chevy w/ AOD (for non mechanic son)
    '50 GMC 100 - BBC (454) with Muncie M-22 rock crusher

The Apache has 35k miles on it since being built, the Fordor is almost on the road and the '27 parts are being stacked up in the shop for my new years resolution project. The poor old GMC has been set on the back burner several times in the last 20 years.

Ford FE series needs to be on the list...maybe even MEL's...

The small-block Ford came out in '62 as the 221 but maybe that's too close to the cut off date?

  18. Real rodders don't give a damn about the rules.

I think that the real roll over from hot rod to street rod is when you find yourself placeing more importance on the high zoot ****, but that's just my opinion if you can smell what I'm thinkin'.

The Stude engine was the biggest factor in me buying this truck. It would still be cool in a 53 Stude coupe but it's really cool in a 34 Ford P/U. IMHO:D:D
