    Does anyone know if the Uncertain T survived? Actually, for that matter, did any of these cars survive?
     
  6. yeah The Uncertian T is in Recitia, Ca. sittin in a garage as per a thread on the showrod web site,Hopefully Mr Scott will bring it out again story is he sold it to a friend and is getting it back..as to the rest of them seems most are around some where,check the thread on Petersons Musuem basement,many are sittin there....showrods are alive and well in the U.S.A.

    Art Himsl's "Alien",...won the Oakland Roadster show in 1969, it was on the cover of the first Rod & Custom magazine that I ever bought!,... Dragmaster T- bucket chassis, small block Ford and a custom fibreglass body,...anybody have any more pics of it?..., or it's matching trike?

    I vaguely remember a trike with a matching paint job,...I think it might have been owned by Mickey Himsl.

    these guys must have had squirt guns full of LSD.
    and when one said something sensible during a build like
    "lets just use a spring over front axle"
    the others were like
    "ok man, open up man"
    I like to look at this stuff.

    some of these cars are legendary in the kustom car kulture scene, i love lookin at them things. they are rolling works of art.

    Distortion for some reason, probaly when I cropped and resized it.
     
  26. wow great news for the show rod guys.I just talked to Gary McLean from the wire wheel fame,he's still makin wire wheels up to 14 inch wide.....YES!!!! he's doing tru-spokes and his famed McLean type wheels.....any size and off set !!

    Not a full on freak show car but I found this about four years ago. It made it's debut in 1976 at the Chicagoland autorama. It had the same paint job since that time. It also had a small snippet in 1977 street rodder from that show.
    You can't see it in the photos but the paint had gotten pretty bad so I saved the parts I could to hang on the wall and the rest of her has been under a rebuild to a more tradtional style.
