This has got to be one of the coolest videos ever!

  3. Great video!
    DW is "Mr All Bidness!!"
Dw took me for a demo spin in that car in Joplin this year and the best description I can come up with is "violent".
I've never been in a car that quick. I grinned the rest of the afternoon.

We collect for everything else here on the HAMB. Maybe we should solicit donations for a new shifter for him. To have a car with the potential that one has and to hear Dave shift like he does is,,,,, well,,,,,, disheartening.
I know he wants to do better, right? <

He is running a sbc with nitrous. Not sure how big a shot. The car is setup for 1/8th mile but he came to have fun with all of us so he said what the heck. He had to let off at the 1/8 because the motor was leaning out with the nitrous he said. Thats the main reason I like the in car switch so you can still race on motor and not the auto switch. That was was probably one of the closet matchup though

Dave and Blake -- You don't know how inspiring that it is. I have been kind of low profile lately, in a car slump, and that my friends has got me off my ass and back out to the garage. Shit I want to race now, anybody want a POS shoebox?

Great car. Great video. Great guys!

DW.....Kewl....Luv that vid. Glad your putting a cage in. I was thinking as I was watching, No belts that I could see and no cage. Better not get a flat !

  12. Now that rules!!! The video and the cars! For the record dave I've given up trying to catch you. I'm just going to be happy hitting 11's. :)

VERY good to hear you'll be putting some kind of roll bars in her Dave. We like you way to much to let you keep running those speeds without one. :)

That was awsome too bad there wasn't external video too. That way you could see what was going on outside the cars as well.

That makes sense. They are real close at the 1/8 and then he fades out of the window pretty quick. Might have been ahead at the 1/8.

Senior fried, tell us about your ride. I was the guy doing the classifications that was telling you I'm going to paint my '55 a real similar color to yours. I'm going to be running a small block and most likely spraying it. I'd like to hear some engine specs, tranny, gearing, how big a nitrous shot and when, race tires, weight of car, weight of first girlfriend, favorite food, etc. What does it run in the 1/8?

I'm sure after so many seeing that video, I'm not the only one that is curious.

If you gotta go, might as well go down in flames!

For real though...roll cage for sure buddy.

The violence in Dave's coupe is awesome. It scares kids and old ladies.....and full grown adults. If old Henry could see his steel run like that. He would love it.

    Blake...killer video again.

For those of you who haven't seen DW's coupe run - you have no idea what you are missing.

10.90's in that battleship? That IS kick ass. What trans are you running? That would make a hell of a street car w/o the spool in it! My buddy here @ the shop & all of his grandkids were @ the drags & they all remember your 55 as one of their favorites. Any chance you will bring it to pistons & paint next weekend so we can drool over it?
