WOW, glad I had time to let my food settle.! Looks like the potato-heads are running out of ideas to grab your attention. Now they just want you to throw up!!-MIKE
Next time your lady starts howling about all those trad rod parts laying around and that rusty old project you're working on--just show her this crap--she'll think big poppa rust bucket is cool again. Now we know where the Billet folks come from
eh thier "gimick" cars an trucks to sell products. they are usuelly over the top crazy so you just remember the name. they say bad publicity is good publicity, remeber the world is full of morons.
I guess I'm a loser, but I actually like the green caddy with the flake: WTF is this? And why the hell is flat black on this truck? Who the hell puts primer over a perfectly good paint job?
Hey, are you back or are you posting from Vegas? If in town you and Lynn should drop by this afternoon, Greg and Jen will be here.
I agreed with most of 'em, but his bitch about the peeling vinyl and "unrestored" condition on those import drag cars was just ignorant - those are real racecars on display - not showpieces. SEMA isn't all about bolt-on interior trim and new polymer waxes.
They were not all bad, the tan Yota was original and you dont see them around and the caddy was not bad in the picture.
There were cars there? I guess I was too busy grabbing free brochures and ogling scantily clad women. Honestly, it looks like they just picked 15 cars at random. They all looked like that with a few exceptions. I wish I had photos of the donk'd '95 Fleetwood limo. I think it had gold plated bumpers.
^^ No, these cars aren't all that bad! Now if you really want BAD, check this thread: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=484604 It's the most hilarious thread ever, a collection of real bad taste 4th gen Camaros
Flat paint was the big thing last year, not just black, but all different colors. Didn't see much this year. The only real big trend I notices was nitrogen for tires. Don't think I'm going back next year. Gonna do the PRI show instead. It's way better than SEMA.
it's a 6 series built as an Alpine demo vehicle (Sinister 6), you wouldn't imagine how many man hours went into this car and the Alpine mini, incredible. here's a link to build pics n stuff http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/fun/P-Lot/garage.php?vehicle=Sinister 6 i agree with a majority of the cars being filth, the two Alpine cars not being among the majority. for those that didn't like the matte black yukon/escalade... Rob&Big's Tahoe was featured in Rides nice find 1lowlesabre! damn i wish i coulda gone to the show this year
that black model a is a hambers car, whats the deal with the 5th exhaust pipe? mark down another + for the green caddy.
These cars are from this year... The black model A is Skratch's car. The caddy didn't look bad in person.. The amount of time that went into the Alpine cars and some of the others is incredible.. Not my cup of tea but incredible anyways.. The bar stool with the v8 was ridden into and out of the show and about a 1/2 mile away to his hotel..I will post my pics later.. just got home at 2am...Jason
