That's where I've seen it then, at the Canada Day Show a few years ago. Nice truck, but I'd have tried to keep the front tires inside the fenders... Nonetheless I'll keep my eyes open...:D

I don't know if this next one counts as a true COE but I like it and I can't find any info on it. Any ideas?

The one under the Futureliner is an early Divco dairy delivery truck. Here is on that was at a show with no info on it. known as a 33 twin coach. Original Divco were electric powered.

That is my daily driver COE. That pic is form tha Asphalt Invitational this past summer.

I used a 74 GMC reg cab dually chassis, running a 350 SBC and turbo 400 trans. Call me a wimp, but I put A/C in it with an old underdash style evaporator, sure feels nice in summer. I just put airbags on the front. I was tearing up the front sheetmetal too much. Still need to build a nice steel flatbed on the back, it will be about 10.5 feet. My friend Plan9/Chubby Kid donated a couple 46 Ford big truck front fenders that i will modify into rear fenders after i build the flatbed, see the mock-up pic. Also a pic of my COE at Bonneville this year:

I also have this totally stock 51 GMC, that I plan to build into a car hauler, using a Caddy 500 engine right behind the cab. This one already has a 17 ft flatbed on it, just needs the chassis parts swapped out and a lot of work. If I can give any real advice on these COE's: trying to use the engine in the original location just makes the cab real tight and any future ones I do will have the mid-engine location. To improve the cab interior space.

When I was a kid growing up in L.A. County, California these trucks were used by the Helms Bakery.

I just picked up a mid 80s crew cab chassis today. Thinking about putting the rear end in the 40 COE I got. Actually thinking about buying another COE. :0

I had this one running around in my head years ago & had Chip Foose put it on paper for me.

It was to be a COE/Ranchero-type deal. My tastes have changed since though & now I lean more toward a stock bodied '38-'47 Ford.

I finished welding up the frame splice on mine this weekend. I also pulled the front bumper. Now I'm working on the bed crossmembers. I'm going to have some 8ft bedsides bent up.

I cut the stock frame off 14" behind the cab (Gramps got hit by a train in the 70s, so the frame was pretty tweaked after that), then I spliced on 82" of 87 Chev 1 ton frame. I swapped the GM 14 bolt rear for an Explorer 8.8.

The front is stock, with the exception of a '49 F-1 axle spindles, and hubs. I also pulled 6 leaves per side in the front, leaving 8 per side. It's strange climbing into it and actually having some suspension travel. The stock flathead and 4 speed still work good, so I left them in place. The truck actually rips pretty good with the 3.27 gears vs the 6.66s it used to have.

What about Jeepers Creepers Truck? I love that thing...

it's a 1941 Chevy COE flatbed with a custom made back.
