Heres my heap, daily driver, only transportation i have. I EFI'd it up last winter since i got sick of tuning for chinooks in calgary, there was too much fluctuation in weather to get it running how i wanted. Plans are for tu-tone and possibly airbags, but the bags may be put on hold to build a model a, i'm looking for a body right now.

You know, I actually had hopes that I would see a truck or two with a custom grill treatment when I made this post. Im looking to get one of these trucks as a side project.

I like the 62-3 years for the A pillar, but it sounds like its pretty cramped for space and parts are more expensive.

Thanks so far for all the pics and info!

I didn't change the stance from the picture. Just copied the rear wheel well to the front, lowering the opening.

  18. Heres mine. Finally got the 283 swap done and running good, next is discs and more lowering:D . I love my knee knocker windshield, it just feels like an older truck on the inside. Its also good for a laugh when one of your vertically advantaged friends finds out the hard way how the nick-name came about.

Here's my 62 with a 60 grille. I also have a 65 that I'm building, but I have no pics of that one yet. Both Shortbed Fleetsides. All years of this body style (60-66)came with the 'big back window' option.

I like em both but I prefer the small window.
