Here is a picture of my 60 Falcon Gasser. It has a 351W and a C4 trans going to a 9 inch Ford rear end out of a 1966 Bronco and I use an 1965 Econoline front axle. Thanks Jon

I use a 4.56 axle ratio, the C4 was just built with high performance clutch's and TCI valve bady and converter with a hardend input shaft. The best its run was 2 years ago and that was a 11.60 at 118 m.p.h. Its 11.70's in the cool weather and 11.90's to 12.00's in the heat at are local tracks. If you go were there is any elevation it falls off quick into the 12 teens. Putting together a new motor over the winter and hope to run 11.50's in good air and 11.70's in the heat. Jon

Can't let the cat out of the bag just yet! Just a teaser shot! The back will go up a little bit (not crazy) and it is getting lettered in 60's drag car style. It has a very, very healthy 302, C-4, 4-11 rear. Should be a total blast when Chris gets it done. Cleveland and Thompson drag raceway will be nuts with gassers next year! Dave
Sorry about the late reply. Will have to hunt and see if I can find some more photos. We used 1" exhaust tube cut on a taper at the door end and screwed to the panel 1/2" from the end. At the tail light end I drilled a 1/4" hole in the top of the fender and under the exhaust tube and used a length of threaded rod with locking nut to raise and lower the heigh of the exhaust tube until we got the desired look. When we were happy we made cardboard templates to fill in the panel between the car and exhaust pipe, cut out these shapes in sheet metal and then welded them in. The threaded rod was then removed and a quick grind and smear of body filler finished them off. I hope this helps! Noddy
Found some pics! Remember this started as a 4 door sedan (rusty) and ended up finished as a 2 door convertible just 7 days later! The car now has a mild 302, C4, 8" with disc brake front end. Cheers, Noddy
We did plenty of planning and prep for the challenge. You may see in the photos the door panels weren't finished in time - about the only thing we didn't manage. The team was made up of a couple of panel beaters, school kids and local car friends. This is no bullshit - not like certain TV Shows. Kiwis know how to make things happen - quickly! Noddy

The winner had never owned a classic/custom car or Hot Rod before and has upgraded the Falcon with a 302/C4/8" etc. He now has the bug and recently imported a 65 GT K code and 66 GT A code convert Mustangs - and we are starting a 38 Chev pick up for him as well. That Pontiac is a beaut also! Do you have any info on the healight/seatbelt/third brake light issues discussed in the article? I suppose the laws are different over there and it had to be retrofitted. I find the import/export laws on automobiles to be an interesting topic for some odd reason. THANKS again for sharing!

About to get a back 1/2 chassis, tubs, 9 inch, 15x10 Weld Racing wheels, 6:71 blown 289 (302 Mexican block, 289 crank & rods etc, 351W heads) and "restored" back to LHD. Pro Street I guess... Noddy
