here is the current Billetproof Mobile. I'll probably end up selling it as I need more hauling room and I've been given a 63 Suburban. Sure do love wagons though.

Just had the bumper filled and rechromed, the cross bar polished.

    Sacramento Bumper. Pretty reasonable.

I didnt have them do the grill teeth... pot metal... WAY expensive. $100 each to fix them up. You can get repops for $50 ea. But these are cut down to fit... so I'll just live with them the way they are.

I think this one looks good. Would make a cool driver if you can get mileage out of it. Could you get these with the 4.3?

no. They came with the 305. My 91 Caprice with a 305 got about 20mpg with a K&N filter and a cat back system.

The 305 in the Custom Cruiser should get you better mileage than your 4.3 due to the efficiency of the TBI.

The LT1 with the 350, despite even higher HP should be better still (18-24).

This thread rocks. I just found this site and I looked at all these picks just tonight. I have a 68 Buick Sport wagon that is a work in progress but here are a few pics of it.

Sweet thread! Gotta put mine in. It's a 55 Chevy Bel Air Wagon, 4 door. Doing the kustom thing on it. A lot of ol' skool with a little new skool (for safety). It's got a Chevy 350/330hp crate, a built 700R4, TCI motor and tranny mount's, original 55 rear housing stuffed with a 58 Corvette Posi chuck with 3.55 Yukon Ring & Pinion and Mosers, Wilwood's at all four corners, Heidt's -2 spindle's, Global West tubular "A's", -3" Posies leaf's, QA1's coilovers everywhere, power Unisteer rack, SSBC Power booster and Prop Valve, B-Cool Radiator, Classic Auto Air, B&M Street Rod shifter, Ididit column, Painless block, and Radir's (sweet). Still going at it cleaning up the interior, upsolstery, and paint. Roof is getting a lathering of metal flake, silver over white, with a little somethin-somethin extra. Keeping the Patina for now. I love it, but it's gonna rot quickly here in So-Flo. Progress of build can be seen at this link. PM me with any questions. Enjoy. http://www.flickr.com/photos/11727936@N02/sets/

This one was just imported into New Zealan by a good friend.

Numbers matching, low mileage, 58 Chev Nomad. All stock apart from Air Ride suspension. Ex Washington State.
