That's pretty a slick looking trike, nice job. My buddy up just built this one up here over the summer, he wanted a 60's trike too.....lol

The battery is mounted just in front of the rear axle on the left side, the radiator is in the back as shown in this pic

Looks good Mark. Do you have any pictures of the trans and how you setup the shifter? Jim

mark, if i build mine with the pinto/c4 combo and use some type of independent rear, do you think it might be to long, as it will look like the roth's mail box. also, what are you going to do with that fiat body?

I dont think I have any pics of that, but all I did was bend it over to the left 90 degrees about an inch up from the base and then back up where it sticks throught the body.

    The fiat is long gone,

It depends on how long the trans is, a crosley has a very short trans. do you have it mocked up already? I could give you a measurement from the ctr of my rear wheels up to the down tubes if you like. let me know

Does it run a small tailshaft?...or is the trans yoke straight to the diff yoke?.......cool bike, reminds me of the futuristic/logans run vibe.......loved it in MFS3, you got some killer toys to play with...:) ....Bert

How did you make the body?,..is it styrofoam with fibergl*** laid directly on top or did you make a mold?

I skimmed the foam with drywall plaster (fibergl*** resin eats foam) then painted latex and applied mold wax. applied mat and resin over it and thats the body. lots of grinding requred to make it smooth. If you are just making 1 it is probably easir than making a mold.

Jake started it and lost interest then sold it to Roth who finished it.

Sorry a little off topic here but you should consider starting a post with a bunch of the stuff you've had. I've seen quite a few show stoppers of yours during my few years on the HAMB. Your definately living right!!

I had a "Hot Seat" too! Except mine was blue. I traded my Big Wheel in on it for my 7th birthday! I seem remember it being kind of a ***** to pedal with the back/forth arrangement!

Kool trike Mark! Long live Metalflake!
