Hey el Scotto, If you fancy a night with my wife, I'm ready to do a deal "Indecent Proposal" style for your Challenger. God I want a Challenger!! Be just my luck, Death Proof will do for Challengers what 60secs did for 67 Mustangs......
My car shop at my Sign Shop (where I WORK everyday). The windows at the back of the shop are my office. These shots are the "someday shop" up north. Slowly getting it set-up so I can build stuff when I am there. Someday seems a long time off, but someday....I will live there. The view out the back doors of the "someday shop"
Here is mine no wait there is no roof...Basically where you can't see is my little tool shed got it from a construction site that the foreman used as his office and the rest is a slab...One day though one day.
muncie and I have it mixed up....he has the floor, i have the walls and roof..... i really need to have a slab poured....
I hear they make a thing called paint that you can put on your car to make it shiny. So who likes to sand at your shop? You must be between good painters.
Fritz, those would turn to original patina in about a month down here on the TExas coast. Nice collection though.
No kidding! There is a lot of money being spent on garages. A few look more like NASA clean rooms than a place to wrench and a have beer. I wish there were a few more "real world" shops on the Garage Journal than rich guys trying to out do each other. Kinda make me sad at all the excess. -stick
This thread hurts. All of you that have any kind of work space/shop our trulely lucky. I have a car, parts, and the tools but no place to wrench. It's like havin a lighter and no cig's...
fair enough... i'm in the 10x18 "shared-use" club myself. ...but i have found a lot of useful info over there to make improvements. lighting, organization, fixing the damn floor etc... yeah, it's a bit humbling to look around - but there is good info. in some ways it's a place where the garage *is* the project - but that's part of what i like too.
The "SOMEDAY SHOP" is awesome. I love the old shop feel and the doors are really nice too. You need to share more of those pics and tell us where it is. Everybody else's is really nice too.
i just moved... twice... so stuff is scattered out pretty good, and the new shop is comming together about as fast as the second coming of christ...
My former shop...had to leave due to the health probs...sure miss it...looking at a 2,000sq ft building now.....getting tired of renting tho.....like to buy something.
January 2006 ... July 2006 January 2007 September 2007 ... I cut down over 100 trees, hauled in 800 tons of clay and 100 tons of crush and run ... to build a new shop ( 25X 60 ) behind the brick one I have ( 25X40 ). I put down 10 pallets of centipede sod ... and then decided ... the 3W is almost done ... so I do not need another, larger shop
