USA NSRA vs UK NSRA

Tell me guys is the USA NSRA as anal and up there own arses as the uk one??? or i it just that us rat rodders dont get there stuff? and they dont get ours?

When I was in the UK, I thought the UK NSRA was pretty inclusive - borderline too inclusive for me, but I'd almost rather have that so the numbers justify nice, big venues than the other way around.

 

I guess everyone just ignored that one!

I probably made it worse when I laughed at him but he was this riotous shade of red and I couldn't help myself.

I can't believe I'm going to get involved in something so lame but here goes.

Just as a heads up for you American guys, the NSRA in the UK has nothing to do with the association of the same name in the US, it tries to encompass all kinds of modified cars up to somewhere in the 70's and for the most part doesn't do an entirely bad job.

That said I'm not a member of the NSRA in the UK but I do visit their website. I certainly don't agree with everything they say on their forum but I don't go over there kicking up a shit stink for no apparent reason. From what I saw of last night you had your knickers in a twist just because they want to keep the forum rodding related for non members. So what? This place doesn't do off topic that often either, what's the problem? Anyway, it's not the first time you've been downright rude and abrasive on there and with you having to post a sulk over here I'm guessing you're missing them a lot more than they're missing you right now.

As for all the "lol", from what I see you're the only one laughing, (that is apart from those laughing at you), and you know what they say about laughing at your own jokes....................

Why do this on here, the UK NSRA are just ordinary people into Rods (all kinds). They do not disrespect the bare bones Rods (Rat Rods as YOU call them) look at what is at the Hot Rod Drags or Nostalgia Drags so yes they most certainly do get it.

You are trying to make out that the UK NSRA are all fuddy duddy's and they are not. They are not old blokes that like only the shiny stuff as many of the members aren't either.

The UK NSRA are not a massive organisation like the US, it is just run by volunteers with the love and future of Rodding up-most in their minds and what they do.

I have a shiny (now) Rod/truck but love the bare bones stuff 100&#37; and yes do get them, just not what I wanted to build.

So to say we or they don't get it errr burrr yeah right and you know it! Look at the diversity of the styles at any NSRA event in the Uk for proof.

So don't try and ridicule or diss the very people that are trying to keep Hot/Street Rodding alive in the Uk and fight our corner against the bureaucrats that would have our lifestyle/hobby destroyed they are the enemy not the Uk NSRA members. x ;o)
