I'll go one better and tell you only 2 of the 4 Bean Bandit race cars we brought to the show are in running condition. The other 2 however, are fresh from a trip to Bonneville. We brought the cars out at the request of the shows promoters John and Jenny, who setup a special display and honored the Bean Bandits with a lifetime acheivement award.

I'm on Desoto's side on this one, I see nothing wrong with bringing a non-running car to a show if it's part of a special display, a vendors space etc....

I don't know what car Dreadman drives, but Desoto's daughter's unfinished, non-running hot rod has more soul and style than most of the cars that were driven into the primer nats, period.

I hope you aren't bashing me Desoto! Cause when I met you at Kiwi Kevs house last year,I thought you and your daughter were really cool people. As for the HAMB banner. I enjoy meeting fellow HAMBers and like to put a face with the name. And as far as the pic's of the Bettys go. I always ask if I can take their picture, and if they don't want to I don't.
Personally...I don't care if someone pushes their car into a show,as long as it fits in with the type of show. Not the same thing as a guy with a finished car that trailers it everywhere instead of driving it.
You must have touched a nerve, with Dreadman. He's usually more laid back than that. He does like a good arguement though,LOL!

  8. Lay off Bob, Desoto is a good guy, he is just as opinionated as me, I can respect that. It's all good, let it go. I acctually like him since he has a backbone.

WOW !! I Thought this thread was long time DEAD !

I wasent really BASHING anyone really.... Just stating MY opinion & it turned into a ******* match.

I have since talked to DREADMAN and i think hes right, We are both just stubborn ***'s that like a good Roast

I just think people take the HAMB wayyy to serious, Its an OK place to be.... But it aint the center hub of Hot Rodding in my opinion.

I see the same ****py 'OL STOOL RODZ type cars on here as anywhere & alot of worthless questions & threads.

But anyways, thats my opinion.... No hard feeling or bashing toward either of you fellows... Take it with a grain of salt... **** Talking is my job !!!!

    See ya somewhere !! :D
