    hello everyone, I'm Andrew

I'm 22 years old and live in Louisville, Ky. I've been lurking for a while gaining some knowledge, about my build and figured i should say hello and start getting involved. I'm in the process of collecting parts for my '28 roadster but it's more of a pile right now. Planning on building it traditionally with a little bit of a WWII bomber influence as I'm an airplane mechanic and it's kinda ingrained in me. I've also got a '76 triumph that I'm planning to bob and my younger brother is building a '53 Chevy. So let me know what ya think!

Glad you decided to step into the light? Looks like you have plenty of good stuff to work on. Make sure to check out the Beatersville show at the Phoenix Hill tavern in May. its a cool show.

Welcome from southern Illinois. Looks like you've got a great start on your hot rod....
I'm sure you know, but Louisville has some really great swapmeets. The Kyana and Williams shows are two of my favorites as a vendor and a spectator.

    Thanks Fresh469!

awesome, another A&P, are you working anywhere? I'm trying to get a job with UPS (where i currently work) but its proving to be pretty tough.

i'm not familiar with the Kyana and Williams shows, any way you can elaborate on where they are?

again, this site has been a great source of reference and inspiration. i'm looking forward to learning as much as possible. thanks for the warm welcome.

The Williams show which is now called the Louisville Fall Swapmeet is in October. The Kyana show is in the spring (haven't got the dates yet), but both are at the Fair Grounds.

Welcome to the HAMB. It's a great thing that more people are here representing the Bluegrass State.
