I love my '56 Nomad, but '57 Safaris really do look fine, especially when they're that two-tone '57 Pontiac green combo.
Here I go again. Can't refuse to put my pictures not in here. It's my '55 "Gomad" A cut Nomad with a 4 Speed and '65 Vette small block. Original survivor.
What a great thread. Thanks for all the pic's guys. 55's were always my favorite. I'd love to do one as a gasser. Gary
got a Safari 57 exactly the same color as Jive-Bomber car,in good conds..sorry,have no pix right now but will post em soon here, new ones some are posted in my " MEXICAN JUNK " thread for the ones that could'nt wait.... we want more of those...cool wagons...the 57 Safari is my favorite ,and the rarest...
It sure is nice to see all those Ponchos. (Not that those Bow Ties aren't great.) Here's a local car. Car Quest commemorated it in 1/24 Scale. (I thought I had a better shot than this but, oh well) (Note the reflection of the DeLorean in the teardrop trailer.)
Posted these in another thread but here ya go.. Different feel than the ones posted so far... I love it <img src=http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee254/designisgraphic/5702.jpg> RodP's handy-man... also love it <img src=http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee254/designisgraphic/5601.jpg>
