"ovaltine" has 1/3 less fat...my son approves

  1. i got a little sawzall crazy this weekend and lopped the roof off. 4" to be exact. my son likes it!! it's just roughed in, and i'll finish welding and smoothing it out this week. hope ya like it!!

    That's cool when you can your kids involved. That first picture should be in your family picture album for sure.

    Looks a lot better chopped! I just got done doing a 34 that went down 4", and have another 34 cab thats going down 5". These are easy to do, wish they were all like that!

    looks great Matt...now everything falls right into proportion...keep up the progress man, looks like we might be competing to finish around the same time...what's your goal to have it drivable? May?

    Looks really good, it's funny I was going to reference the reading material but jonny o beat me to it. I like the shop, it makes me want to get off my ass and get out to my own. Anyhow, Lookin' good and keep us posted.

  16. chris...the wheel is a volrath boat wheel. i stole it from 51fordshoebox!! the dash is a 56 olds.


    thanks for the props, guys. this was my first chop. i think it came out ok.
    i'll post some more pics as i finish it up.

  23. robert, it's got a 14" kick in the rear. it's still quite roomy, but my pedals are gonna be tight. i wanted the motor high in the frame so that put the trans up into the floor, so i'll hafta be creative with my pedal setup......i'll figure it out tho.

    where'd you find 60 Merc bumper ends that weren't rotted out at the bottom???
