With any luck, tomorrow we will remove the floor to prime and paint to keep it from rusting. It has to be stored outside for a few months.

Man! nice work fellas. I'm slowly putting the rear part of the car together. Replacing the inner fender-wells and the trunk floor-pan. I still need to make the bottom edge on the trunk. Keep it up.

Mazda, how close to the stock demensions did you keep the floor? What I mean is did you keep all the little curves and bends, like around the rocker panel? Did you try to keep it stock looking? I'll also be waitting to see how you do the tranny hump by the cowl. later shawn

The length and width of the floor are stock dimentions. We made the rockers to match the original ones. The rear seat riser is stock dimention, the driveshaft tunnel is larger than stock. All of the ribs in the floor are not stock.

Kool, thanks. The floor in my 40 dodge are not as bad as yours were, it's basically from under the front seat to the toe boards and the rockers are really bad. Did you use big washers to reinforce where the body mount bolts go thru the floor? How many sheets of sheet metal have you used so far? later shawn

Well, this is it for a while.Today we removed the floor pan and sealed and painted it to keep it from rusting untill we can get back on it.We also installed the rear springs and the rear end.It now is a roller.
