Thanks for the kind words Weemark!
It's always nice to see another '35 on this thread, they seem to be more on the rare side:)
Glad the book is working out for ya, it has some useful stuff in it.

I haven't hopped up the motor yet, still wanting to get some heads for it first. But this is what i have waiting to be mounted on the flatty some day. I just hate to change anything on it because it runs so good as a four barrel with no problems at all:)

Thanks to Duane (strombergs97) here on the Hamb, it's sporting these nice rebuilt 97's!

steve - the intake and carbs look real nice, they will suit the car down to the ground. funnily enough i just picked up a pair of those scoops to go on the roadster once its done too.

I have changed the filters on the coupe to the same as yours so when another pair come up i jumped at the chance of having them.. you dont see them for sale over here very often

Weemark that front view of your car is amazing. I like the chromed headlights.

I like those scoops you guys are using alot.

Here is the stuff I have for my engine.

I have these scoops but I only have 3 so I think I am just going to use bell style filters.

Wow, this is 3 pages already and I just found it. I must be slipping! Hahaha :D

    The 4 door
    [IMG]

Not pictured is a frame that was clipped with a Nova subframe 20 years ago. I don't know what we'll ever do with it, but Dad doesn't sell '36 stuff... ever. I think he wants to build a truck out of it, but like I said, we've had it for 20 years.

I just got some rear steel '35 coupe fenders that I would love to trade someone for some '36 rear coupe fenders.

Big changes in store for the 4 door and the 3 window this winter. If it all comes together, the 4 door will go on the 3 window chassis and the 3 window is getting a new chassis with a 302 (instead of the current 305, and hopefully shiny paint). THe 59AB that resides in the 4 door will most likely go into the cabriolet in place of the stock '37 flatty. When you only like 1 year and make of car, it makes everything much easier. hahaha! ;) :D

Oh yeah, forgot the '35 Bonneville coupe that we are building at the shop.

myke thanks for the compliments, theyve been like that for about 6 years now and they are still like the day I got them, the guys who done it made a really good job of them.

chad i changed them about 3 months ago now, end of summer really. i was needing the change tbh... had the wheels in the garage for near on 2 years before i got around to painting them. any more pics of your bonneville car?

here are some more pics, sorry theyre a bit on the large side...

That looks so good! I think I am going to have to run blackwalls on the 4 door now for sure. :D

We haven't really done much of anything to the Bonneville car except for some patch panels and parts collecting. Customer work comes first.

I've got skirts for the cabriolet. I feel like I *should* make it taildragger cause none of the rest of them are. But then everytime I see another car with that killer stance as above, and they I think, why would I ever want a taildragger? Good thing I've got a few years before the cabrio even sees the light of day. :D

I had a similar thought with my car. Why not try a taildragger? So I lowered it a ton and put skirts on it, and ran it that way for six months or so, but I felt like an imposter when I drove it -- too foreign to the style of cars I grew up with. So it got raised back up some before I sold it:

Might as well throw my beater into the mix........one of these days I have to finish the cosmetics and some paint. I use the excuse that I still don't have any original headlights for it yet so I can't do any more on it........but I just like to drive it.

Count me in. I am building a Boattail Roadster, body by Fairlane Co. with a DuVal windshield. sectioned 3.5 inches, very sleek. No pix right now but will get some together.

    Hey, Keith!
I have only ever seen one of those boattails as a completed car; it was at Back To The 50s in Minnesota around 1990. I look forward to seeing your new one!

Tony, I saw the same car and a few years later bought the tooling for it. I have lengthened the doors for better proportions and will make a few other changes to sweeten the look. Half way through building a '28 modified and than the Boattail gets back on the center burner. Keith

Here are a couple from my past. I have a real affinity to '35's and '36's. The orange one was my first build. Apparently in Minnesota now.
The silver one is the one I should never have let get away. Just an all around awesome car. Sold it to a jerk-off in Illinois. I saw it in the most recent Goodguys magazine. I kick myself to this day and it's been 6 years since I sold it.
