right on Jesse. you always got some crazy shit goin on in that shop. the slope on that hudson roof is SICK!! love it. i like the chop on that Merc too... that rusty fucker looks like something you'd find here in Michigan... come to think of it it probably woul'dnt be THAT nice. LOL keep it up bro, it's inspiration for the rest of us to get of our arses and into the shop!

i always look foward to his post..he does some hardcore work.ive never talked to him,but he just seems like a man of few words and lets the pictures do the talking....

some might call it spam, but i see a WHOLE lot more spamming by big name shops right here(if you want to call it spam) ....


i might be wrong,but Jesses's shop seems to do a whole lot without all the fancy expensive tools and they are taking shit and making badd ass rides...i'd much rather see that because i can relate than some pro shop build a 100K "traditional" ride

 

I didnt see a participation clause when i signed on to the board, pics of somebody's work (blurry or not) is fine with me. Some people are to busy building cars to spend 5 hours preparing a tech article
all though i love the tech articles. All the finished cars he has posted are bad ass in my book, and the 46 ford he did for de silva is my favorite.

on the hudson?? its a 79 chevy monte carlo complete with floors..stretched it out 8'' and chanelled the body over frame and floor 3'' to get the rockers to lay..

 

Jesse' work speaks louder then words. He is right. There are alot of people on here that DO request pics of the cars that he has done when he is rarely on here. I have worked for him in the past and believe me, he knows all that you can know on what to do on a car as in channeling, chopping, frenching, custom mods, fender skirts by hand. The door is always open for those that want to see what he does down at the shop. Jesse, is that good p.r. for ya on a free shop shirt? j/k! KNUX!

bullshit like the post on this thread filled with hate are the reasons makes me not even want to bother posting pics of what im doing...people act like they should just log onto the hamb and get entertained and if something doesnt suit them just right,they should feel free to bitch and complain....

guess it all has to do with being in the "in crowd"

i posted a thread the other day of something i did that i thought was pretty challenging,,and only recieved like 5 or 6 responses...but someone else changes their tires or something and it goes to 4 or 5 pages...

 

I don't get it.A guy posts some pics of the work he's doing and gets shot down.He never said "come to my shop for all your custom needs".I think a lot of guys enjoy seeing his way of doing things.Nobody said it was the correct way,but his finished product looks decent.Keep on doing what your doing LOK.Did Gambino's get this treatment too?

I have no hate for the guy. If he wants to post pics of his fabrication, that's OK. It just seems like spam and has from his first post. If he had skills that matched his bravado, it would be different. I do have a couple of tech tips for him. Buy some posterboard for making templates, and sandblast rusty metal before welding. Once again, no hate, but amazed at some of the pics he posts.

 

Probably thee best paint guy in Michigan. If you read his past posts you will see where he answers questions for folks time and time again.

On a person note, stop by Mike's shop anytime after Saturday and say hello to Big Olds. He missed seeing you this summer.

Junk? Really???? That Merc is straight as an arrow.

 

Not the way I would have done it but thats just me... Personally thats is way too much chop on that hudson. I do agree that having clean bare metal around the areas you weld is a good idea. Also it's not a good idea to be welding without a helmet.
