RAIN(?) for Mooneyes X-Mas

Hows it going Groucho! Good seeing ya at the swap meet yesterday. Did you make slushies with all that ice? lol... but seriously, we will be there rain or shine!

 

Still planning on going but may not be bringing the coupe on account of possible bad weather and the fact that I really need todo some sheet metal work on the car. It took a pretty good beating going out to round up and I just have not had the time to do what is need before another big trip.

 

Yeah, same here. So, looks like most are going. NOW, who's still gonna race if it rains??? Personally, I'd be more inclined to race if it does rain. Puts us all on a level playing field as far as traction goes. tee hee. Figure 8's?

I don't mind drivin in it. It's just drinking in the rain that ****s. Rain gets in the drink, and dilutes it. Just terrible that rain

I'll be there rain or shine besides you can't trust those weather guy's on t.v, they said last friday it was going to be a 20% chance of rain and it ****ing rained all day they are ****ing liars haha.

I doubt they'll even put it on in the rain. Can't have the drags, most people won't show, and the vendors haven't much room under a tent to display anything. Has anyone heard what Mooneyes is saying about the rain?

 

i work a few blocks away from Mooneyes, i was going to drop by in a bit before work anyways. i'll ask them and post later tonight dude. i hope it still goes on regardless, whats a little rain!???

I heard if it rains then there volunteer staff to park cars is sketchy meaning it's gonna be a free for all to park. However they said a local Brownie and boy Scout troop might help park cars and staff the event.

Man, who's gonna listen to a bunch a little boy scouts with funny shorts, when they're telling you where to park your ride??!! Should be fun just watching that !! What's a little rain?... It makes primer look 'chiny'.

 

50 % on Friday,
40 % on Saturday,
10 % on Sunday and sunny.

Maybe rain will come early, or just p*** us by...it sometimes does. Y'all should plan on going anyway.

A giant SO WHAT?!! I didn't get the RPU finished but I'm making good progress, besides the Moon show is definitely turning into one of the best around. Once they get parking and entrance in good shape, then combine that with the all the cars and racing and it will rival most all other shows. FTR!!!!

 

I hope it doesn't rain, but i still hope half of the crowd isnt there, then it'll be a cool show, not out of control like last year, way too packed and no parking.. with our luck it'll rain the hardest it has all year on saturday, as long as sundays cool i dont mind, cause thats gonna be the cruising day for me.

i stopped by Mooneyes this morning and they said rain or shine the show will go on, it would only affect the drag cars but everything else is still a go!!! So, come on you wussies, a little rain and your all going to piss and moan??? the guys on the east coast deal with it, hell they even drive through snow to get to a car show!! thats dedication!!
