When is this going to happen? All I've got to say is Denton please! The owner seems REAL nice and I'm sure would be more accomodating than any other track around here. There also plenty of paved pit spaces, and plenty of cheap bars just a few miles away near the UNT campus.

When i brought this thread back up , i meant were there any updates like ,anything happening Friday before the race .Big Ken had said something to me at P and P about having a chili dinner .I was directing this towards those kind of updates.I knew it was on and where.Once again my comments got turned in to an argument ,sorry .I was just giving my opinion to a few of the guys that were wondering about the track ,since i went there recently...

  9. You guys have room for a newb with a glorified lawnmower engine?

I might just break into the 14's (in the 1/8th)

Yea you may be right, i just wonderd who looked at the 63 and said man now thats tradition, but that damn 64 looks to futuristic, i admit i have a reason for asking i have a 64 chevelle i was hoping to get to play with, to me it doesn't really look that much more newer than a 63 car. Okay i'm done bitchen, ya dont go make me buy another car HA!

I think the whole idea of the 63 and older thing is cuz thats when the whole muscle car thing started. 64 1/2 mustangs ,Chevelles ,Goats ,etc. The whole reason i bought my Falcon Ranchero and made a gasser out of it ,was to attend these type of events and still have a fairly light car. There wernt too many choices in a light weight full bodied car that made the cut off date...

Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated anything lately, our office/plant is moving.
YES - Friday night, we will have camping available at the track. We are going to whip up a Texas style feast of Chili and Fajitas........your gonna BYOB, though, and NO GLASS. NO RACING Friday night, just a bunch of good fun, fellowship and bench racing.
    Host hotel(s) info coming soon.
Oh yea, save your Christmas $$ for some fun stuff at the track.
    More details to come.
    Thanks -
