Very nice Denise. Really looks good. I also liked the photo of Danyelle and it was great to see Doc's cool stuff.

The garnish moldings will all be painted shiny black to match the dash which means no more sign BUT hopefully I won't need that sign as I really have to put forth an effort an find that last piece. I'll stick another wanted post up here shortly.;)

Not waterproof sweetie. Had alittle leakage but once everything gets ****oned down correctly it should be eliminated and this spring I'm having a yellow rain suit burning party at my place.:D

Yes, Big Olds and I will be at the Rust Revival. I'm really looking forward to it. If you think I got around last year just wait till you see the events I'm hitting this year. I get an addition week of vacation time starting in '08 and I'm going to make the most of it.;):D

Wow- The new interior is truly suited to the car and the owner!

    All girls love purple...

Let me know when we can break in the back seat, okay?

Are you going to come up for BTT '50s this year?

    (say yes!)

Don't burn it! P*** it along to me! I'm sure you recall how ineffective my garbage bag 'rain suit' was this summer!:D;)

Wow, Denise! What a killer interior - it really completes your car.
I can only imagine how great it felt to take another road trip in Big Olds, only this time with a brand new interior, by Fat Lucky's!

Congrats.... and it's cool that you got to see so many great HAMB folks along the way!

Denise, your car is WOW now!

I love how the grille design is carried over by Sean to the top of the seats and panels. Nothing short of amazing. Seans pieces are works of art.

As always, a lot of fun to read. I love the art deco-ish look to the interior. It's perfect for that era of car.

  12. I'm crushed. You stopped off at Bill's (HotRodA) and never let me know you were in the area. It's going to take more than a couple of cookies to make up for this oversight on your part.

And oh, yea, I like the interior. Has an art deco feel that comlements Big Old's lines. Very creative. Very cool.

It was kinda a chilly, long ride to Memphis. By lunchtime I was pulling into HotRodA’s work parking lot. It was wonderful seeing him. I think it’d been about 18 months since we hung out together.

Thank YOU for stopping by. Next time plan to stay longer.

Also, thanks for lifting my spirits (you know :().

But that's the way you are :D

Hey, did Mike get the ribs, or did you eat them on the way?

Very Nice, I looked at the pics last night  since I knew you where working on this post :)

I hope it's comfortable, I'm going to need a ride home from the HAMB drags this year.

That event will probably be the same weekend as the Hot ROd Cinematic......we'll just have to see.

You got it sweetie! It's all yours :D

:D Just what Sean wants to read....me blasting down the highway steering with one hand and eating a rib with the other.:p No, ALL the ribs made it to Mikes place still wrapped up in the foil, double bagged AND in that carry bag.....no sauce anywhere on the new carpet, thank God....I checked.:D

Chin up sweetie, everything will work out for the best.

THANKS to everyone for all the kind words regarding the interior. It was a long process BUT so worth it in the end. I left out certain words, phrases and descriptions in my story on purpose yet you guys are picking up on them and mentioning them. I'm thrilled you guys see the "theme" and art deco-ish design. Sean's a genius.:D

Don't be sweetie. I was p***ing thru quickly and Bill really need to chat. Next time it will be more of a group thing BUT this trip needed to be one on one.

    Plan on breaking something???;)
I can actually travel with 3 p***engers very comfortably now! No one has to sit on the floor in the back any longer. How cool is that!:D

and yes, the seat is VERY comfortable, alittle stiff right now but that's OK, it'll break in.

Not only don't they rattle BUT they look and smell good too. I can't wait to show you. You have alot on the car to be proud of as well.

As normal as I'm going to try to be, I highly doubt that ugly blue cooler will be sitting INSIDE Big Olds again NOR will 8 people with root beer floats be cruzn down main street in Blanding in the back of BO with me driving blindfolded again.:D

that is one kickin floptop. the interior and top just make the car. you've done a beautiful job on that car, and you certainly deserve to have such a nice car.
