First 3 are when I rolled her in the driveway. 5 minutes after it was parked my 5 year old came out all excited and said "Dad!!! You got my car!!!" I didn't have the heart to tell him to get his own freakin car. He does love to come and help in the garage tho... maybe one day...
The last one tho is up on blocks. It's been a real pain finding lugs and caps for the Uni-Lug ET's. I finally got some on the way! I can't wait to bolt them up for real and let it down on the ground.

I was going to build this as a family ride,..... but the family is grown up and mostly moved away,.... This was the lowest production year for Buick, this is a 1933 Series 57,... I put a 1972 Buick 455/TH400 in it with a 9" rear,........ it needs a new home.

Pardon the rust, our '59 driver. Long way to go till its right, but they rolled off the assembly line 1/2 way custom in my opinion.

Thanks Tommy, still a bit too pedestrian I feel though. Met someone from your club at the Vagabon Inn during the Primer Nats in '06 that knew the car from when it lived in Gilroy. Maybe thats where you saw it?

That's Jim Bob's car. You can see him sitting on the right hand side of the car..........his long blond hair flitting out behind him, soft hands on the steering wheel.:D

Well, this was mine up to a few years ago. Does that count. And besides, I haven't seen any older Buicks as yet. This one is a '33 90 series Victoria. It has a 138" WB and was about the biggest car GM built that year. Only 556 made. I loved cutting it up!!!

I was the FIRST one to say it, and I'm gonna keep on saying it...

    BUICKS are the new MERCS...

(Defined as- Really cool cars that can be awesome AFFORDABLE customs...since Mercs are no longer affordable.)

Anyways...here's my stash of 'inspiration' pics. And, a shot of my own '50 Super Sedanette in B&W!
