My contribution this week. Got stranded in Dallas because of the ice storm in KC. Here's what a few in the hotel bar inspired.

  2. Not much to throw out here this week..I was playing around with the Hamb Andy hot rod concept thread and this is what I came up with based off of the items listed from the build sheet.

Wow... I'm always amazed at the amount of good artist out there. Great work as always guys.

Here are some old ones to me... You might have seen them.
These first two were the preliminary sketches.. I always like seeing that kind of stuff..

The picture was taken by Jeff Cochran of "Sucker Punch Sally's" fame..

    Jeff is an amazing photographer..

    Thanks,

    Joshua Shaw.

No, Its a woodcarving. Done kinda old school with chizels and a mallet.

Heres a little video I have posted before, but it sorta shows the process.

Ynottayblock ...dig the 54 chev progression art, very nice.
Dutch Courage ...cool illustration once again.
Zombie ...amazing as always, i could never get tired seeing of your style of art, it rules.

we'll, i got really inspired by Coops stars and stripes helmet a few weeks ago that he posted, so i just had to go out and do one myself:) I used glitter for the metalflake, it makes for a cool effect.

    It's acrylic on a 16 X 20 inch canvas.

    Great show everyone!
    peace,

Zombie, dig the colored paper stuff man.
Cab, clever use of the glitter, dig it.

Old Christmas piece I did way back in 99. It's loosely inspired by Cole Foster's Chevy pick up. By the way if anyone one has an extra set of Lincoln door push buttons I'm interested...:) Need a set for my Riv project.

  19. Getting ticked at Photo Bucket so for now I'll just post this old (old, say 1980?)
It's always been one of my favorites and the fact that I don't take much care of it just adds to it's look.

  23. Thanks pal. The more I look at it, the more I see how badly I need to redo it. I mean, those side proportions, what the....

Here's a few others to feast on...

This was derived from a concept design for an Ichy and Scratchy segment I animated that ended with the cat on a certain doomed plain with zombie Buddy Holly, ricky V, And the Bopper...(They didn't use my design, oh well...)

Here's some thumbnail acting poses of Homer stammering (originals are thumbnail sized)

...and here's a couple little Rovers I banged out a few years back when I shoulda been working (kinda like right now...)

  24. Hey sorry to enter the fray so late. I have been working on this for a friends business card, Not really done yet but wanted to put it out there.

Love the other stuff this week, Zombie, your pencil on paper art is amazing (I assume that is what you are using).

GaryC the Fauxgatti is pretty cool, especially since it will be a real car.

And AND, These are very cool. I dig Santa's ride.

Well It's been a while for me to post new stuff. The real job gets in the way of painting monsters and half naked women!! Sorry for the crappy cell phone pictures it made the colors not come out right. I only had a few minutes to get a pic before it was boxed up and sent to it's new owner.
