I love this thread. Smoke and fire coming out the back, bright shinny cars and of course the front ends sticking waay up in the air. What else does a man need.

 

I'm pretty sure it's in this thread already somewhere (red and white fenderless 30's coupe?)

I have a large collection of trannies as well. I left them with Dave Cook when I came over here but should have them back soon. I will post some of the better stuff here ASAP. Some of my early stuff is in Larry O'Toole's history of hot rodding and drag racing books. Mine date from the Brooksfield days and go into the mid 70's mainly. After that I was too busywriting, building cars and being SA Divisional Director to shoot much.

But... Me and dad really had fun this day, and both were we suprised when my C-dan hooked up like this! She ran a 12.40 first pass!

..plus you guys have covered all my other favorite shots!





This is the "mullins Buddo" 56... my buddy owns the car now, and it still looks just like this!
