I just spoke with Tim King from the Detroit Chapter which is here in Florida helping take care of funeral arrangments. As we spoke, they were at the funeral home making the arrangments for Myron Jr.

The viewing will take place from 12:00 Noon till 2:00PM this Saturday December 22, 2007.

    The location is:
    http://www.dobiesfuneralhome.com/
    Dobies Funeral Home
    9944 Hudson Avenue
    Hudson, Fl. 34667
    Phone: 727-868-4441

He will be laid to rest at:
    Vereen Family Cemetery
(which is close to the funeral home)

Myron Jr. will be laid to rest wearing his Poor Boy Tampa Florida Chapter shirt.

It is requested that we wear our Poor Boy shirts to the funeral in respect to our fallen brother.

Myron Jr. will be transported to his resting place in a restored 1963 Cadillac Hearse.

One of our own, Myron Boloyan Jr. - Rusted Shut here on the HAMB, was hit last Friday in his fathers, Myron Sr. recently finished just 2 days prior to the Turkey Run here in Florida, 1930 Model A Speedster, by a woman running a red light.

It is our understanding that he had left the shop ( C&C Rod Shop) to go and pick up lunch for all of the guys. On the return, when he got his green light, and pulled out, he was hit on the passengers side by a woman running the red light. We have been told that police are estimating that she was traveling 60-65 MPH on a street with a 35 MPH speed limit.

Bay Flight was called in to air flight him to the Bay Front Medical Center in St. Petersburg due to severe head trauma. He has been in a coma since the incident. Numerous medications are being administered to treat the numerous blood clots in his brain.

Some of you may have met him at the Turkey Run held at the Daytona Speedway over the Thanksgiving weekend, or may have seen the car. They were so proud, as Sr. and Jr. togather, Father and Son had worked so hard in building the car from scratch in time for this show, and were looking forward to driving it to the new Billetproof show here in Florida come March 22nd.

All of us in the Club are in shock..... but not even close to what Myron Sr. and Jr.s wife and daughter and the rest of the family are.

Please send out your thoughts and prayers for Jr. and the family if you will.

Here are a few pictures that I took of Jr. and the Speedster at Daytona.

Update: Late last night, December 19th, 2007....our buddy, and good friend Myron Jr. passed away.

Glen, The Boloyan family have been close friends of ours since we moved to Michigan in 1969, when they were our next door neighbor's. I remember when we pulled in on that snowy, Dec. 7th day, seeing Myron Sr.'s flathead powered T-bucket setting in the driveway, thinking, "Man!...is this gonna be cool living here!"
My brother and I literally grew up in his garage,...that's where I learned to weld, fabricate, do body work, paint, everything!
Myron Jr., or "Little Myron" as we called him, was especially close with my brother and I, being involved with hot rods, and the local Detroit music scene, up until he decided to move to Fl. to be close to his family. It was after Autorama this year,(2007), that he got the go ahead from my brother, to start a Florida chapter of poor boy's.
He's a talented fabricator, and artist. He was totally, our "little brother".
What we heard from Myron Sr. yesterday, was the girl actually hit him from behind, while he was just pulling away from the green light, but, while traveling at that rate of speed, she was also on her cell phone!
The impact was so great, that 1 of the rear wheel/tires, still cannot be found at the accident site!
Myron is in bad shape with 2 brain hemmorages, and 3 blood clots, in places that are inaccessible, and was placed in a deep coma to try and reduce the brain swelling.
My brother and I are in contact with his family, and getting daily updates, but right now, it's mostly just a wait and see situation...

Our deepest sympathies to his family and hope and prayers for recovery.
It would only be fair if the bitch that tagged him slipped in the bathtub and took her hotcurler box in with her and her cell phone. ZZZZZZZZZAAAAAPPPPPP!

This is a tragedy. I saw the car at TRR but didn't get a chance to meet the Boloyans. I pray for a full, speedy recovery and strength for the rest of the family.

My sympathy to the family and a sincere hope that he recovers fully. The time of the year makes this even more difficult but the support of the hot rod comunity is hopefully a help.

    Done.

Once again, this is tragic anytime, but at this time of the year when friends and family are supposed to be together it's especially sad.

Glenn, thanks (again) for keeping us all posted.
