Nice vision, you pulled that off great! Maybe HotRod magazine is pulling out of the camaro-induced nose-dive they've been in for years????
Man, talk about making a silk purse out of a sow's ear!!! I like the mean eyebrow look that the dip in the windshield gives it .
I've been really enjoying the mag for the last year or two, they have had some good stuff, Dare to be Different and some great features. We'll see what happens in Frieburger's absence though.
I agree with you NTAPHSE. Both Hot Rod and Car Craft are excellent these days. While Senior Art Director at PRIMEDIA, I pushed to have Super Chevy revamp their layout style with no avail. These two pubs are proving once again, it takes courage to not only have vision, but actually go there. Something like you did with this tremendous build.
Congratulations again! I kept telling him to post this up for you guys to enjoy, glad to see this sweet project finally getting the recognition it deserves! I work with NTAPHASE, and airbrushed him a 'contratulations' present that he said you guys might like to see So again, congrats, and I promise I'll make a matching hoody as soon as my workshop isn't full of crap. Now, stop futzing around with modding your daily driver and FINISH THIS CAR
Congratulations! I never seem to catch you at a local show. I have seen your car only once in person, but you were no where to be found. I cannot wait to see how you finish it up, regardless, the foundation you have kicks ass, way to turn it around!
the later model kaisers were great looking cars, but you have taken kaiser to the next level. great ideas, great execution= great car. dan
Which show did you see it at? I haven't had it out much so far. Hopefully we can meet up some time once I finish up the car and show it more.
Hats off to ya!!! Maybe you were just lucky getting everything to come out looking so proportional but I don't think so...... I think you are very talented.....Gary
First time in ages that I have agreed with about anything HRM did. You definitley have the worlds neatest " K " car. It's Bitchin.
It was shortly after you made your presence known here on the HAMB...spring or summer? It is kind of fuzzy now. Tempe or north Phoenix, maybe? Anyways, get a few of those Hot Rod Mags for archival purposes. I think that it is freaking cool you are recognized without having paint on your custom as one of the premier customs of the year. No small feat, particularly with the Kaiser.
Very slick! Congrats. It jumped out at me also while perusing at the Newstand. I think there is another one in Scandinavia that has been posted here a few times?
