Nice day out so I figured I snap some shots of the truck since I've had it done for about a week now. I still need to put it my upper dash and window mechanism as well as get the headlights adjusted. Don't really care about the "bobber" or "rudy this and that" comments which seems to be the hype these days, I love it, that's what matters most to me. Here she be!

Nice pictures, it really motivates me to go in the garage and work on my truck. I just want to get it running but some times you get burnt out from your full time job. It really looks fun to drive!

You should be proud of that! Nicely done. Enjoy the hell out of it and screw everyone with their self-proclaimed "artistic eye for proportion" B.S. they throw around.

It really only matters what you think because it's your ride.

Love it man - nothing looks sweeter than a traditionally built SBC. (although I know 90% of people on here will disagree with me!!)

Yea, I have a few things up my sleeve still. I built the entire frame on paper first just using basic math and geometry and this is how she came out. 111" wheelbase, tracks perfect, no shakes even at 80+. I HAD to keep the generator, it's brand new, I picked it up in Hershey at the swap meet, charges like a dream. Hahaha on the radiator, it's a Griffin aluminum dragster radiator, I painted it with black laquer and it's still staying clean! Seems like it just won't get dirty! THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK GUYS! This is the first hot rod I've built, and at 21 I don't think it looks too shabby!

Hey that truck looks great man. Im sure you got Chris jealous as hell. (but hopefully motivated)- maybe when those rears are all burned off run some 7.50's to get a little more tire height. (or not, yea mines still in a pile and your runs...)

Yea, Chris saw it barely at Greasmas the other night, but he was so out of it he didn;t even know where his car was parked! I went up there trying to help him get his shit straight on his and get his ass motivated, he has too much going on right now. I want to get some 7.50's on the rear and 5.50's on the front, the tires on it are B.F. Goodrich Silvertowns from '62, still soft and no dry rotting what so ever. I'm probably going to take them off, they're worth more sitting than driving, I'd like to find another set of wheels though before I do that, know of any around? hahaha

So what size tires & wheels are on it now? They appear to be the same size, front & back. I like it as it stands.

You know in my days trucks had fenders. And girls didn't run around with tattoos and their ankles showing. You young people are a disgrace!

    Get a job!

Very nice, good job. Screw the haters. They're the ones that can't build anything and never will. I built a truck this way before any Rudy (10 years ago) ever had a thought. Everyone thinks the first one or style of something they see in a magazine makes it the first one. For all I know he copied mine.

What's the steering box ? any pictures of it and the rear suspension and inside & under the bed ?

    You're rightfully proud.

Looks great in a kind of Rudy/bobber kind of way.... LOL Just Kidding.
It does look great, I add my weight to the positive comments above.
I like the generator, the tidy yet functional dash and the drilled backplates - all the better for being not overdone.
    21 too.. Lucky so'n'so.
