Mother of ****, that's funny as all get out, and on top of it all poor Jerry Desvaux gotta do the 'splainin. It's all very ****ed up, and not in a good way.
It's like that time my buddy (not a very close one) had a powerful urge to whack off in a public park behind a bush, but he invited another dude to take pictures of the foul incident and promise never to release the pictures......and that's really all you need to know.
The ****er upper confronts the ****er upee and the people seeing the evidence of the **** up laugh hysterically, meanwhile someone else takes credit for it all.

Circle of ****, my friends, circle of ****.

As quite a noob on this whole compootah thingy, and therefore the HAMB, I'd just like to take this opportunity to stand up and salute the more senior guys on here, who, rather than give some kneejerk slagging, take the time to generate a truly undeniable, inescapable comical put down, and save the big guns for when the dude doesn't see the full extent of the shame of his actions....I mean...the trailer might have remained discreetly secret had he fully acknowledged the uglicity of them wires......

........I just hope I can be lucky enough to be so artistically flamed on the day when I start to build "I'm gay!, I'm rusty! Get used to it!" cars.:D

Hey DeSoto, could you post a pic of your hot rod please? Same with you ChiliPhil, as I need something to base my next build off of. I just want to make sure I get it right according to you experts. You know... The people that know absolutely everything there is to know about hot rodding. Thanks much! Or if you don't want to post the pictures or can't figure out how, you can PM or email them to me. Then I can post them for you. Thanks again for all your help and constructive criticisms, because I don't know what we would do without your help. I'm sure nobody would ever build their cars correctly.:D

I do like you car just taking a cheap shot, I will admit i was lost when I started my car wires and all but with the help of the HAMB and mags other than Old (been)schooled rods I have been changing direction with it and my 36 chev. Dont forget I live in UTAH not much to be inspired by.

    That aint no excuse,

There are a **** load of old hot rod & custom mags out there from years gone by... also there are Many new books on Old cars at the local book store.

Dont go by your local Inspiration, Go by tried & true Traditional inspiration. Read the old books & mags

I have stacks & stacks of OLD material... Your not gonna get it from anyone but the OLD Hot Rodder down the street or the OLD books he helped set the stage for.

Sure you can put yer own twist on stuff, But stay focused on what FLOWS !! Make sure proportions are Correct... and above all... LEAVE THE MINI TRUCK/HONDA WING/BLING BLING **** OUT !!

Man, that is NICE! Perfect traditional hot rod if I ever saw one. Way to go doing your own thing. Screw the unspoken hot rod ruleset and the guys who know tradiitonal hot rods! Cars like that are helping the image of traditional hot rodding everyday. You should be proud. Old Skool Rodzzzzz FOREVER!!!!!

They don't have TVs, magazines or the internet in Utah? That's sad. Where can I send my charitable donation?

WTF??? I grew up in Utah too and thats the most asinine thing I have ever heard!
Aren't you forgetting about that little place "the Birthplace of Hot Rodding" the Bonneville Salt Flats? You should check it out sometime. Maybe get yourself a little inspiration. You just need to look harder I guess.

I also know what should be at 'OL STOOL RODZ & not here

I also know to long wheels base looks just as bad as Tractor grills (IMO)

I put wires on my car(big mistake) but i did not post it on the HAMB with wires I know better. I have always owned 50 customs no mini trucks or hondas, like I said changed directions, I did piss off the purists and dont think I have not taken alot of heat over it.

The coolest sport coupe EVER! Still wish I could have seen it roll into Primer Nats a couple years ago when I was there. Heard someone knows how to make quite an entrance with nothing more than a simple cruise through the gates! :D

Here ya' go DeSoto... I was being sincere, and here you are calling me a smart *** that really hurts my feelings.
By the way... What is the difference between your car an a rat rod again? Is it the the shiny HEMI? Nice car though. RED wheels and all. As for the grille on my truck, it's the factory IHC grille dumb***. And it's not done... Funny you've got more money in the engine alone than I do in my entire build. Guess bagging groceries pays better than I thought. :)

Chili I have to agree that is a nice traditional custom. I am not a HUGE fan of customs but yours is clean. Just cuz I don't like it doesn't mean I am going to trash you for it. That's just immature. But well ya' know.

This is the reason I come here. See now? I have learned so much today! Thanks guys for pointing me in the right direction! I SEE THE LIGHT!!! Now someone shut the shades will ya' it's too bright in here...;)
