I like this shot a lot! Stone, Woods & Cook's '66 Mustang "Dark Horse II" cruising the pits, but that's Al Vander Woude on the right checkin' 'em out!

No clue anymore where I got this one.

 

I'm pretty sure this is Clare Sanders (soon to be driving the second Jungle Jim car) in Lime Fire. I dig the chrome steelies on the back.

Now for some Gassers...Al ran a gasser for a short while. (Actually, he ran Stock, Super Stock, A/X, Gasser, Funny Car, and Altered at one point in time or another...about the only thing he didn't do were drasters....didn't like 'em.) Another injected 426.

I had this hanging on my wall as a kid (my wallpaper was colored pages ripped from Hot Rod and PHR mags from '67 through '74...yes, I still have them all). I dig Henry J's.
