It's official!!! I made it home from an event without a flatbed!

Went to the Brian Setzer concert last night at Universal Studios. 125 miles,round trip! Might not seem like much,but I haven't had the best luck going to events,LOL! Was asked to put my Merc in the show by Hotrod Squirrel(Gabriel). Bumpstick,Dreadman,Chris,of L A Speed Shop, were there also. Here's some pic's.

setzer puts on a great christmas show, doesn't he?

 

Some Foriegn guy came up to me and kept asking me "how much do you want for it?" I told him it's not for sale,but he wanted my number! Dreadman told me about a HAMBer who keeps bugging him to but his new Coupe! Some guys just don't understand the word "NO"!!!

 

Yea,he does,but it seems like every song turns into a Guitar solo. I've always liked him,and was a BIG Stray Cats follower. He didn't really play very much Stray Cats stuff last night though. Last year he played for about an hour,then came out with a Trio and played some Stray Cats songs,then went back to his X-mas show. This year he just blended a few songs in with the regular show. I liked last years show better. It was more for getting to put my car in the show,than the concert anyways.

 

yeah,,he usually does the three piece stray cats set,,,
i liked that too,,,wonder why he didnt do it this year...

 

It IS a X-mas show,not a Stray Cats show. I've seen him in another show and he plays all kinds of cool oldies favorites,Gene Vincent,Eddie Cochran and his old stuff. He can still play the **** out of a Giutar!!!

I went both nights, friday with my car, and saturday as Bad Bobs guest.
The show was ok, saw the other two "Cats" friday night backstage, and was hoping they would get on stage, and do some Stray Cats tunes, but that didnt happen.
I had a good time both nights, and I'm actually surprise Bob made it home without problems.
Bad Bob did mess up Universal's nice concrete floors, with a waterfall of ****** fluid, and he was the only one who got a sheet of plywood under his car.
