    Oh...duuuh
Yes it is.The car reminds me of a 57 Chevy four door that was built by Jack Florence in the late 50s .It had 59 Dodge front fenders hooding the headlights over a 59 T Bird grille!

  14. What are your thoughts on that Chevy fastback with the Studebaker bullet-nose on it? It's orange. His buddy has a pick-up hybrid too. Have you seen it?

Bob There are a few like that and I think anything with a Studebaker front blows with the exception of when George Cerny used Stude front fenders on a box ford but even that never sat perfectly well with me.

  17. Nope, can't find it. It usually shows up at the Goodguys shows.

Holy cow, I haven't seen those books since I was in 3rd grade. We'd go to the school library and check out books once a week. I'd get at least one of those every week. They're available on eBay and from Amazon sellers among other places. Thanks for posting the pics - I'd long forgotten who the author was.

  22. Three more and I have the whole set.
    Karting
    Mighty Midgets
    Slotcar Racing
    Motorcycles
    Drag Racing
    Teen Fair
    Horses
    Surfing
    Drag Racing Funny Cars
    Dune Buggies
    Custom Cars
    Mini Bikes
    Snowmobiles
    VW Bugs
    Motorcycle Racing

I don't have Horses,Teen Fair,or Snowmobiles. Not sure I want them,HA HA! I hate to admit this...but I stole them all from the Library when I was 10. My buddy is in the Mighty Midgets book, racing a Quarter Midget.
They were written and photographed by Ed Radlauer,1968.

  23. geeez-us. I've spent the last hour trolling through this thread with tears streaming down my cheeks (butt that is). :D

I really think the EPA needs to get involved.... and issue the builders of these fine vehicles with a "visual pollution" order.

I can't help but think that SOMEONE, SOMEPLACE, has bought one of these abortions and saved it from the puke-pile by re-customizing it. If so, does anyone have a any pics? I would be interested in seeing some.

I took that photo probably 25 years ago, but it still makes me giggle... I can only suppose that the poor Rolls had been rear-ended...

What else could explain this Frankenstein of a car???

    Nah man, thats The Homer!

  29. The Rolls-Riviera? It actually wouldn't be all that bad if the roof was rounded off instead of square. But a '51 Chevy rear clip would have worked better (picture that)...

  30. That looks like a Dymaxion built by Buckminster Fuller, the inventor of the Geodesic Dome.
