  5. Makes no sense that the rear of the bar would travel that far. BUT, sure, I'd like to know. I've been a long time fan of Jenkins and don't rememebr anything like that
     
  6. That could be the old style wheelie bar you're seeing, if you look at the vega picture the placement is about the same.

    Hey Guys AWSOME thread!!!
    Here is a pic of my Dads factory backed 1965 Comet They ran in 63,64,65 ran low 12's around the midwest. A few of the original cars survive yet today. One is in Wisconsin being restored. I should see it this summer. I will post pics. anyone remember this car???

  15. Definitely Cool Thread. Hey Jeff. Did you ever get yer dads racing movies transferred to disc yet? The ones where the TomCats are running against the Ramchargers,Flying Dutchman & Mr.Norm among others? I know you had quite a lot to go thru. Maybe you can show some here. What I saw of them was awesome.Nothing like '60's drag racing! I'm sure there are a lot of guys here who would really like to see what ya got.

  29. This looks like a pic of Don Maynard, Chris Karamasenes and my late Viper Brother, John Hogan. Early sixties. Am I correct?
