I can't get the search function to work right and I'm looking for pictures of his model A sedan with the side glass that has the wire in it. I've seen a few pics of it from a distance but I'd like to see some closer shots if anyone has any. Thank you.

The search feature isn't the best sometimes.
If you're still interested in searching for posts, try going to google and type the following line:
    Jesse James site:www.jalopyjournal.com
You'll get a listing of all the posts with his name in them.
    Narow it down with:
    Jesse James sedan site:www.jalopyjournal.com
or whatever you are hunting for.

Jesse do you have roll up windows in that car? Or does it even have side glass in the doors?

I see it has somekind of vent wing thing on the pass side door window area.

    kustomd:
To have a good search feature on a message board requires a few things. One of them is to have people post things with good titles. That's one of the biggest issues searching here. We generally suck at putting descriptive titles in our posts. ;)
Google doesn't care about titles only.

I magine it does I had a chopped 54 chevy about the same time monster garage came on and I had the bright Idea of smoothing the firewall and removing all the floor vents then I made the vent wings solid. Then after all that I started to drive the car and realized I fucked up when it was 110 degrees down here in arkansas with 90 percent humidity during the summer. there isn't alot of airflow with just the chopped side glass openings.

Hmmm. The VERY short answer is "yes".
The long one involves computer programming mumbo-jumbo and it's SO much easier to tell us users to firstly title things properly and secondly make sure we know how to "google" this site.
No sense in reinventing the wheel. ;)

I don't know who wrote the message board software that Ryan uses. I read in some post that he had tried to get a better search tool at one time.
I'm sure he's doing what can be done with the tools available.
This seems to be a solid piece of board software. I've only seen it have any issues once since I first logged on, and that was only for about 5 minutes. Impressive, in my books.
Maybe a sticky could be put at the top to TRY to instruct users how to search better.

I'm sure he is. I usually don't have any problems with the boards setup just sometimes the search function is a little weird I hope I didn't sound like I was badmouthing it. Because I didn't mean to.

  29. I guess that'll happen when the window openings have been reduced to mail slot size ;).

Didn't come across to me as bad mouthing. But I don't have anything to with the board so my opinion isn't worth much. ;)
I think most of us who have hunted for something feel the same way about the search tool. There is SO much information here and SO many people ask stuff that's been asked SO many times.
I didn't mean to highjack your thread... it's just that as a computer instructor at our local campus, I see that searching for stuff is something most people aren't that good at and usually can use a hand.
I'll take my meds now and drop the pet peeve. ;)
