Here's mine. Vintage Fenton intake, three Rochesters from a 348 and equally vintage Hi Speed Power Equip. air cleaners

I'm trying to decide what to put on mine. Two Carter 4-bbls on top of a 6-71 supercharger. Would you guys run scoops or small round air filters?
The scoops are mine, the car belongs to my dad. I offered to let him use them but he likes his stacks better.
If you are a gear head, everything you see gets run through the "where can I use that" filter. The three scoops resting on my tri-power TV are old Chris Craft pieces, cast br*** and nickle plated. The pair are also old wooden boat parts. Not as heavy and not sure on the brand. I can see a pair of these on a Track T with an open sided hood and two dueces on a flathead. Someday I'll find a use for them.
I took 31Modelo out today to a few of my parts stash spots (read old boat junkyards!). What would you know he comes around the corner with a dorade vent! would make a killer scoop . Tons of stuff ready for the adaptation of feeble minds. Those ones up a few posts with the Chris Craft stuff I believe are Perko and may still be made new.
Not vintage but fabricated. A buddy and I just finished this up yesterday. The center is from a used Holley air cleaner. The end plates we made from 1/4" 6061 and some motorcycle velocity stacks.
You gotta love a Rogue air cleaner/flame arrestor! The cl***ic flame arrestor. 4 bbl Nicson's 2 bbl and 4 bbl V8 aircleaners. The cl***ic Badger air scoop that actually came with a filter element...a small piece of a standard round air cleaner.
I was told that these cast aluminum scoops were made in the 50's for a boat builder on the Washington coast. They will be on my 29 AV8 flathead.
Here's mine: Vintage Cal Custom scoop on a fabricated base with a 7" x 2 1/2" air filter on top of an Autolite two barrel.
Thanks Kiwi Kev. I picked this up at the Turkey Run for 15 bucks. I knew it was old but I never researched it until I saw it in your scans. The oldest I can find it is 1961 which is about perfect for my project. It seems strange to have an air cleaner with such a large hole in it.
Here's mine. For a 60's Paxton set-up. It's actually kinda goofy and huge, but I'm gonna use it with the rest of the system.
Here is what is on the car now. I have some other more common 2x4 air cleaners and some 2bbl stuff. But these are by far my favorites. I just wish the flowed a little more air and let the motor breath better. Plus they are for the small throat AFBs, would need and adapter to put onthe later AFBs or Edelbrocks.
