Poll:hood sides or not?

No sides. And as you mentioned, the top is getting paint...which will significantly change the look of the car...it will integrate the grille and frame.

but the black on the front of the hood and chrome on the back doesn't match, if you're going with the black match the back of the hood

Sides look good. I would run em at least part of the time.

 

Leather or black,,,it's not for a car! It looks like its for a horse or something. HAHA
It sticks out like a sore thumb. I like the hood sides though. Louvers might make it or break it. Hard to tell without seeing them, maybe some one could photoshop some on there for ya?
In the end it's your car but I too like to not be talked or laughed at when it comes to my rod.

 

Keep the top and sides but have the sides cover up that front Z in the frame, would clean up the look I think...

 

I would probably dig the hoodsides with the louvers all over the place, and maybe with no pipe sticking out, but that might look common, the pic without'm looks awesome.. nice ride.

If you keep the hood sides, you deffinitly need louvers. Other than that, leave them in the garage.
