myke, i spoke to a guy selling SW gauges at this years LA roadster show swapmeet and he said you can get the 2-5/8th fuel pressure gauge without the block letter SW logo but it is rare again. Al.
Those logoed fuel pressures were probably made the longest, with a redesign sometime in the 60's to get the logo on the face. Not sure why they still used the smooth bezel when all the other 2-5/8ths went to stepped, but they did. They are not as common as Motor Minders, but almost.
And they didn't change the needle either. I think I have seen a short tail pointer on these but I am not sure. Did the wings and block letter series have a low pressure gauge?
I'm sure they did (these gauges were made for all types of industry as well as automotive), but I don't remember seeing any. Probably a 0 to 20 or maybe 30 scale. Not really useful for our fuel pressure. On second thought, I do know I have a "fuel oil pressure" gauge in the big logo style, but not sure what the range is. Maybe I can check tonight.
