Hey guys, My wife and i have been asked to ***ist everyone involved, in the Suede Pavilion February 8th-10th. There will be live entertainment by Stray Cats b***ist Lee Rocker's side band. There will also be other live Rockabilly & Surf bands performing through out the weekend, DJ's, Pinstripers reunion, lots of vendors,Pin up contest, special guests like So-Cal & Verne Tardell, special displays and much much more. As most of you know the Suede Pavilion will be relocated to a smaller yet more intimate building, that is actually located front row center - where all of the action is. In the end i believe this will give the Suede cars the recognition they deserve. As of right now the building is 2/3 full of pre registered attendee's but we still have room for more cars as well as vendors. We are looking for Primered or Painted nostalgic Hot Rods, customs, or vintage race cars. The producers of the show welcome all car clubs to be get involved. It will be best that each club enter's 2-3 cars that best represent them. If you want to enter your car , or a few cars from your club, or register as a vendor contact us a.s.a.p. , give us a mailing address, and we will send out an application right away. Again, A very special thanks to the Poorboys for all of their hard work through out the years.Bruce, its nice to hear there will be some of your cars shown/displayed inside the building. Thank you for your time guys. Feel free to PM me or email me at Shifters32@pacbell.net Axle
Sounds like a cool deal. We've come down to Sacramento for a few other shows and always enjoy ourselves. Email sent for vendor information.
Being in The Suede Pavillion is the best way to be part of this show. But, if for any reason you/ride are not able to do the full show thing remember that they are offering the Autorama "Drive-In". The $40 entry gets you VIP parking for pre-'73 rides, and admission for two people, dash plaque, etc. For info email: info@rodshows.com
UPDATE: Friday evening: Lee Rocker , plus DJ'ing all day. Saturday: Royal Deuces (Bluegr***,Rockabilly,Rock) Infamous S****s (Rockabilly) , Pin Up contest , DJ'ing all day. Two of our pinstrippers, TJ and Lefty, will be in the panel jam and their cars will be there. All proceeds from the panel jam auction will go to the UCD Childerns Hospital.
I so wish mine was going to be done by then so I could enter it!!!! There is always next year I guess...Damn. Ill be there to see all the other cars though!!!
Wish I was 3000 miles closer so I could enter a rig, but will be there in person to see what you guys have.... Much Aloha, 2Loose Willy
My Caddy, which TJ striped for me last August, will be on display at the entrance of the Sac Autorama.
The Poor Boys have voted as a club not to have anything to do with Sacrameto Autorama this year due to irreconcilable difference between John Buck Enterprises and us. That being said we would encourage you to support the Panel Jam at the Suede Pavilion. Two of our members will be in attendence to help out as it benifits charity. The Panel Jam is still looking for a few more pinstripers. If your interested call TJ at 916-549-2989 We would also like you to support Axel, from the Shifters, in organizing the Pavilion. He is still looking for a few more cars and/or vendors.
Well I am going to make... will be 95% complete by then. Well Bruce we'll see you at Midnight M*** but probably sooner
