Here are a few shots of some FED's in an extremely unlikely place!!!! These were shot at the Autofest in Frankenmuth, MI. The kick off for the Friday night block party was 6 FED's driving down Main Street to the places where they parked to be displayed for the evening. I'm only sorry I didn't get a better shot of the More Aggrevation car(the yellow one)!!!!!

I finally broke down and started looking at this today...I'm only on page 11 so far. I'll have to check back often.

 

Thanks Avg. Joe and Ken! That business coupe '55 of Altered Pilot's Dad is sublime...crisp and clean with those tall skinny slicks. BAD. But, that picture of the girl in the El Camino ought to be hangin' in a gallery somewhere! It's like your standing right by the car talking to her. Too cool.

2008 is going to be the line in the sand I think. If you read this thread, it's easy to see we all appreciate and love Drag Racing but...

Obviously, The WCC Willy's and Ken Kull's Red Baron are both the ultimate race car to their owners. They're BOTH "out for blood" as Pete Ogden would say, but they're not the SAME. They might as well be on different planets.

Ironically, making Ken's car run hard and safe in anger is no longer the mainstream and hasn't been for 40 years! Just think, a dangerous, hard to drive, jacked up candy 'flake and chrome Willys Gasser could become hardcore. No trans brakes, no computers or CAD derived air management systems...Just seat of the pants, driver/tuner drag racing with cars that look just like a Newt/Roth monster shirt!

I want to live THERE, and the "new" guys don't! COOL, drag racing might get interesting again!
