Anyone know if these are re-pooped by anyone (wheelkid)?

Anybody have a line on a set? Hell, even a rusty, needs re-chromed, set would fill the bill.

    Anyone?

15x5 to 15x6 or there abouts? Any standard 5 bolt pattern.....

Jeem, I got a pair of narrowish 14s in perfect condition GM pattern, that's it though.

Good luck, most of them went the way of Richard D and Pamela Anderson's drawers, corrosion magnets, even worse than Orlando smoothies.

    now that's just mean...

  13. hahahahhaa, not really trying to be mean,
I might be thinking of the wrong wheels, I'm thinking of the thin steel wheels, that were slotted and chromed. They looked like the thicker aluminum type/style, but thin steel, and yup, back in the day, you couldnt give a set of those away.

  14. Tim, go sit in the corner.

  15. My grandpa had a red white and blue Dodge van in the 70s(and an RV painted the same, he was an Air Force vet, probably where I got my fierce sense of patriotism), and some old rusty chrome slots in the shed with some bald wide tires on them. I used to roll them out next to the van, squint my eyes, and I thought it looked really cool. I would love a nice set of those, I scored a free pair of rusty ones right here from Brandon, ain't got them yet. If I find some mates, I may have them re-chromed...

So Ricky, are you just taunting, or are they for sale?

Funny, I couldn't stand them when I was a wee laddy, but for that 60's show vibe, along with some 2 bar cheap-oh spinners and the right tires......oh boy!

Do you need 5 on 5.5 or will a Chevy 6 lug pattern work?

I had a pair on the back of my 1970 Austin Healey Sprite back in 1977. The car was all jacked up, I bought the wheels new at the Bel Vue car show in Manchester for 20 quid each, they were made by Superior. I loved them then, I still love 'em now.

  27. That Chevelle is 70s period perfect!

Here's a thought, remember the "wagon wheels", chrome or white, with 8-10 triangle shaped cutouts? I believe they still make them, find the manufacturer, buy some before the holes are cut, and have the slots CNC laser-cut. Could probably sell a shit load of them to Dodge "Little Red Express" truck restorers.

$33,900 Reserve not met on this truck.

This place charges $900 for a re-chromed set of wheels, and they are back-ordered. I think I'm gonna call Western wheel...
