Well here are the pics of the new interior. i think it came out great, and with only a little scuff (and constant handwashing!) during installation i dont think i did too bad
seatbelts go in tomorrow and i still need to tweak my door panels a little. i never thought all white interiors could be so ***y!

she's well on her way to being a beautiful car again. new carpet, seats rebuilt and recovered, dash painted, and lots of time spent cleaning and polishing trim pieces! anyway, just wanted to share some pics!

true statement, only happens when people with a fresh pair of levi's sit on the seat. never happened to my side (driver) but has happened on the p***enger side. sort of comes out with a scrub brush some simple green and alot of scrubbing but the stain is still very much their. be careful, white gets dirty FAST!!! even if you think your clothes are clean you will find out real fast if you need to wash your clothes!

eric i have seen some pics of your seat, it looks good as well! i know it is going to be a bunch of upkeep, but i couldnt imagine any other interior in this car. i'll have to pay attention to not get jean stains, that wouldnt be good!

heres a pic of before i pulled it into the garage to redo the airbags. the PO did a hack job to say the least and i'm still sorting it all out. i still havent decided wholeheartedly on a paint color yet, but right now its not too important. i just want to cruise again! after i get it off of jackstands i'll get a full shot of the car and interior.

Jeez man, that interior turned out really good. Did you have it s***ched up at a shop or did you do it yourself ?

muttley, one of these days i need to swing by marks house and see the aces and eights i'm sure he'll give you a call when i come by. the car is still on jackstands waiting on suspension parts..(remember my airbag mounts!)... but as soon as i can i want to drive it!

to answer everyones question, i didnt do the interior. i gutted it, and dropped my seats and door panels off at the upholstery guy. told him what i wanted, and his work has completely exceeded my expectations. during that time i have stripped and repainted the dash, all new molded carpet, installed door poppers, all that "little" interior ****! i just got the seats back last night and installed them. seatbelts go in tonight, wife was working so nobody was around last night to hold the other wrench for me!
i'll post his shop info if anyone in the central valley is looking for some interior work. he charged me a grand to rebuild both front seats, (they were REALLY in bad shape) and to do the s***chwork. when i get home from work tonight i'll post the numbers for the shop. thanks for the comments guys, i think she's a beaut as well! :D

Nice car....Nice interior. It looks great. As big, smooth and low as that car is with all the chrome and that great interior, it almost deserves a *****in gloss paint job..ONLY MY OPINION....Mike

Not Just Nice, NOYCE! (You Have Too Hear Me Emphasize The Word In Person).
Looks Like The Upholsterer Did A Great Job. $1000.00 For Panels And Fixin Seats, Great Price! Also If It Is As Good In Person, As It Looks In Pics.
By The Way, Metal Flake Roof, Fade Job On Lowers.
    One Of Many Inputs.

Thanks everyone, I forgot all about this thread! Well, the car was sold a few years back and ended up in Oklahoma. And sadly the upholstery shop is closed..... Dangit. Thanks for the comments, I hope wherever the car is now the owner loves the interior as much as I did!
