Whats up all i am new to the board. Quick intro. I am from cleveland OH i got a 31 tudor and i race Motocross. And my name is Todd Whats up!!! Now to the post. Where is everyones soft spot i know there are cars that everyone thinks are stupid but deep down you love them, mine is for Low Riders like the 48 Chevy with the wire wheels and all the chrome. Now where is your soft spots.
Hot rods, anything lightweight with a big motor that goes fast, pretty much the opposite of your "soft spot".
Station wagons. Between 1955 - 1964. Any make they all are bad *** and ture survivors. BTW Welcome to the HAMB!
This is pretty nice... Although I never used to like them, I am starting to have a new appreciation for the lowriders and big, slow customs...probably because the ones I've seen here are way better than the ones I've seen in person.
Stuff that's kludged together in a creative way. I love and appreciate competance and craftsmanship, but seeing a cobbled-up bracket or a weird engine swap will make my day.
I have always liked hot rod tourings. when I got my A tudor body I was seriously contemplating whacking the top off to make a sudo tub out of it. Seems like I caught a lot of grief on the board about it (good naturedly of course). Finally had to trade it for a this to satisfy my tub jones. Just got back from taking it for a spin.
Hot rods with quiet un***uming manners that when really hammered go like jet stink!!......."the old sleeper thing"
Cute chicks, pizza, and hot rods. So my one soft spot would be a cutie feeding me pizza in a hot rod. Wait... what was the question? Welcome to the HAMB Todd from Ohio! Nice Chevy!
well.....hello there denise...my name is todd and i like hotrods....and shana tells me im hung like a boy! that close????
just about any kind of car someone has put care and sweat into ... of course with a big *** engine and loud as **** pipes !!
subtle modifications, not in your face modifications for the sake of modifying. oh yeah and old chebies and fords and pontiacs and mopars and buicks and olds and anything from about 1926 to 1975 and some stuff in the 80's and a few things in the 90's........
My wife. automotive wise? Tasteful, well-proportioned, subtle cars that don't look like someone threw every gee whiz golly part at them. And vehicles that WORK...vintage truck that's a driver...race cars that aren't restored museum pieces...bug splatters and rock chips. I'll overlook a whole lot of finish if the thing is actually used and enjoyed. But not **** thrown together, rusty and full of holes. -Brad
