So, how did you guys get the money to buy the property? Did someone make a generous donation?

To make a long story short...

Original owner (my grandpa's partner) still owns the property. He is getting old and after leasing the property to us for the last 20 years he decided to sell it. It looked grim for the past 5 or 6 months:(. We got an extension on our lease through May to give us time to work a deal. We got word yesterday that the deal went through! So here we will stay. (As long as customers keep buying food:D)

Well in a way. My moms dad (aka grandpa) came up with the down payment. After some scrounging for a way to make it work it we think we will be able to do it.

I have never had the pleasure of attending a cruise, or eating there for that matter, at Chuck-A-Burger. I hated when I saw you were closing the old one. Now maybe I can. Congrats on saving it.

Down here it's to close to the city to risk that, but it does grow good here! If there was a market for rocks and clay, I'd be a freggin millionare. I'm gonna have to make it up that way to the revival, maybe even pop in on a few friends up that way I used to work with.
