  2. Where in Marlboro will the show be held?? Is this a first time event?? I haven't heard of it before. Any expectations on it's size???

Look forward to having another good local show.

Its gonna be at the Best Western right off 495- so easy to get to (which is rare for a show these days)

Its a first time event, but knowing who the promoter is , I can see at least 1000-1500 cars there with EASE. I know Im gonna tell people to attend...

hey lenny, I've been to the best western for a bunch of racing related events. I dont' remember there being THAT much room in the parking lot??? maybe they've made it bigger in the last 5-7 years?? just down the road from there is a cool race shop. pretty historic place. "boston louie" Seymour's son's run it. guy was car owner for some of sprint car racing's best in the 60's-70's. they called him the man of a million miles.

if you are into VW race motors you may want to call up autocraft engines and talk to mike seymour. He may let you swing by his shop while you are a mile down the road from it.

Rick says there some good interest really flowing around on this event in the last few weeks.

Anyone thinking about coming to it from out of state?

  16. I spoke to Rick at the WoW in Chicago this past weekend and he is also interested in setting up a pinstriper's charity panel jam.Hopefully that can come together. We met for the first time and were talking about mutual acquaintances.

Give Rick a call- he prolly can use your help in getting the word out.Plus- he is such a good guy- really wants to see car stuff continue on a big scale!

I say go to Milltown, PERIOD. Screw that about asking for the Trad cars to go over there on the other days besides Milltown. That benifits that show and dilutes Milltown.

It's supposed to be trad here:eek:....

Why did they pick the same weekend?

    That Mustang don't look trad.

Cripes, Southern New England has been getting even more great trad shows latey to top what was already here. Why let Milltown get watered down? Sorry for the rant..... I just like to see some of those trad cars that don't get out much....AND I saw some great ones there.
