That Buick RV sort of reminded me of an oddity that stumbled across about a year ago in this guy's back yard... Now, a duck is already pretty ugly, but grafting a school bus to the top doesn't help matters.

Couldn't resist sharing this, after seeing that Buick pile-up...

I can understand the rational to convert the DUKW but the Buick RV defies explanation. It's so BIZARRO that I thought it was a photoshop creation at first. Where is it now?

George was not the builder nor did he have anything to do with car. so maybe he was crazy for taking credit

Yeah the Land Shark is a fine example. Wasn't that thing at the Oakland Museum show with the Hirohata Merc etc a few years ago? It seems like I saw it there. Sometimes I wonder if these ugly customs are built in very small shops where there is no opportunity to step back and check out the overall look. Either that or the builder just gets so involved in the work that they forget to stop. I like the Plymouth/AMC Marlin combo early in the post.

It seems like too many people around here decide to put cars on 4x4 chassis. Lots of 4x4 Mustangs, Camaros etc. Modern day bad taste...
