I've been watchen & enjoying........keep up the good work.

My 46 arrived at the house the other day & I'm in the planning stages of its resurection.

After looking, searching & running every kind of design thru my head I believe my direction will be semi traditional in as much as I will atept to mimic a Bonneville racer....
that will be accomplished with a front end change- MII, big & littles & custom spun covers (18's & 20's) via dzus fastener, an assend drop & an updated nontraditional later style interior (I'm not sure on that yet). Engine will remain the flatty backed by a early S-10 - T5 speed & open drive. 2 carbs & REDS headers finish out the engine.....for now.
After the car arrived I realized the money spent was WELL WORTH what I got. No rust, rot or replacement panels needed. Color will remain - as is.
These are pix of the start - I hope my completed ride ends up as good as what I've seen you guys doing!

Chevy "Knee-Action" suspension. Only used for a few years in the 40's. Uses two control links (like VW), the large round section houses a spring, the small round parts in the front are a type of shock absorber. Idea was to have a complete suspension unit per side. Very complex to rebuild, I understand they worked OK, but tended to leak after a few years.

LOK, I came buy your shop last year to look at some projects you had for sale. Even though I let you know I was not going to but the car I came to look at, you took a good hour or more talking to me and giving me ideas and free advice on building my own ride. Just a thanks to tell you that good people like you are nice to deal with. You and your shop are cool in my book. Thanks again, from Temecula

dont let the bandana or the hood or even my spelling scare you guys away..i left those gangster days back in the days...now its all about my kids, my shop, my friends, and always making new friends..and most of doing what i love..building ridez...so when ever you are in the hood, stop by, i dont charge to say hi, and i dont mind to stop my work and talk for an hour or two....
