I took this one off my street/strip toy last spring and put a Crosley Wagon body on it. NHRA is happy that I now have doors. Hoping to build a legal Altered chassis and run a 292 Chevy 6.

This Topolino lives in the rafters of the Speedwagen Shop.
After looking at the pics in this thread, I am having second thoughts about selling it. ( You cats are really great bad influences )

I got to Drive Darrel "Bucky" Barlow's Fiat Altered back in the late 60's, and have always thought I needed one for a street car.

Sorry for photo quality. Rod n' Race body, 12 point cage, 406 sbc. Body no longer on chassis. It is now a Crosley wagon.

I just sold a 392 Hemi engine to a nice guy in Cali who is going to put it in an old round tube, drag chassis, Fiat Topo. Man, I couldn`t be happier with the motor`s new home.

That HotWheels with the modified VW bug body looks interesting. Probably easier to find and build one out of that body than a gennie Fiat body.

A lot of cool pics, guys!

There is a street going seafoam green Fiat Topo in the Rochester NY area. I have seen it at several local cruise night/car shows.

  17. My cousin has a 37' Fiat Topolino Drag car, called "Orange Crush" I think it is a replica of a car ran in the 60's by a guy they called "Dyno DOM"......(may be the real thing but dont think so?) I dont have the pics on this cpu but will post when I can..... Anybody ever hear of this person or car? I think maybe it was ran out of chicago.............

Thats pretty neat the only thing it needs is the top of the winshield lowered down so the windshield is the same height as the side windows, then chop the top about 3 or 4 inches and it would really look neat, you could also cut the top out like a topolino.

just a side note to the fiat folkswagen. it is not a hot wheels, it is a 1/25th scale model car from a place called reliable resin. i agree with you ken, that is exactly what i would do too. there is a guy about 6 miles from me that sells vw bodies and parts real reasonable and i have been lusting after a body to do just that!!
