may not qualify as a 'grail' but it's rare and had a Mopar part number.it's a dual quad (WCFB) alloy log style manifold for Early 331 hEMI'S .Made around 1950-51 For Karl Kiekafer to run on the Flock brothers cars .

I wouldn't consider it the holy grail, but I have a 8-2 intake for a 426 Hemi.Might be the only one ever cast.I also have a 2 piece NASCAR bath tub intake with the correct Holley for a 426.

I'm looking for one of those (original) flappin' jaw "Gabby" scull hood ornaments for some time. They must be rare, 'cause I've never even seen one on sale. A Hamber a while back said that a friend of his found one at a swap meet for peanuts. WTF, I never see jack at any flea markets and, if I do, the guy two steps ahead of me bought it for $5.00. / Love the 396 Nova fan story. What a world.

This was in a Robert Roof catalog from around 1935, how many L-29 Cord flathead owners bought one of these? I wonder if it is a one piece head or two fours?

Wow. I'm trying to remember how long that lycoming block was used and if it's the same one used in the later Auburns. That is a really really cool piece.

Also the original prototype verticle boss stage2 heads from my car. Found them a month ago:). They made only six sets of the vertical boss (75 sets of the production stg2's which I also have) and the ones I found are the originals used in testing for the stg2 engine program with my car.

Man, I swear there has gotta be some old dude that has a baz-illion 26-27 decklids stacked about a mile high somewhere! You just can't find a decent decklid anywhere and just about all the coupe bodies I have ever seen are missing the decklid. LOL

No, they all ended up on the dump in the '60s. Same with the dual snorkle air cleaners that came on tripower equipped full size Pontiacs and were replaced by either three GTO or Cal Custom air cleaners--what good were three carbs if no one could see them? Also, what do you think happened to all those '55-'57 two door front seats? I know what happened to mine when I replaced it with a pair of '63 Impala SS buckets in the mid '70s....it got pitched over a bank!
