Anybody seen the post on barn find 32's? Two of them, one gennie, one old hot rod. My buddy Paul Adkins put the money up to buy them. He's asking $100,000 for the gennie, $90,000 for old hot rod. Ouch. Whats scary is he may actually get that. Going to World Sunday early. Hope to see some of you. Gotta take my grandson to Museum of Science saturday, going to miss breakfast again. Sorry.Working on my air conditioning, and its 5 below. Seems wrong!
I'm heading to the WOW on Saturday. Who else going? Hope to meet up with some of you. I also plan on stopping by HRCC either before or after the show.

Really enjoyed your Christmas list Donna most of us would love to have a partner with the same interests, you and you husband are lucky to have each others support. Larry (oldbobsign) said he had a really good afternoon with the two of you and we look foward to meeting you at some events this year.
Thanks Jim, I look forward to it also, don't worry that you called me Donnahee hee Im hoping to drag rob (thats right, I have to beg him) to the Kzoo swap, so I can see friends have a great breakfast
who's up for Hamb and Eggs on Sat? Mark and I should be there. Mark's going to HRCC afterwards for Hot Rod 101. Planning on WOW early Sunday, since we would have a late start on Sat. Mark bought a roller for me. Its a 49 chevy Coupe.
Congratulations to you and Mark on your new addition! Bring a list of needs to brakefast and we can have a garage warming party for the new addition. I just got back from a Vintage Tin Club meeting and I think we will have a record attendance for hamb and eggs this Saturday.
i might make breakfast this saturday. i missed the vintage tin meeting. i can't seem to string to consecutive meetings together. how was the pizza?
The pizza was excellent, as usual, and we all got enough since you weren't there!! Hope you make breakfast on Saturday, it should be a little warmer and we need to pin down who all's going to the K'zoo swap meet/LSR garage tour next week. Also, most are headed for the World of Wheels after breakfast. There is a HAMB Meet & Greet at the Chicago BrushMasters display (at the stage) at 12:30 Saturday. The first auction starts at 1:00 so hang around and bid on this:
Thanks for the schedule update Jim.Still going to WOW sunday when the doors open.Hope to see some of you.How many of you guys are in Vintage Tin? Tell me a little about the club.
Hey, Gregg Vintage Tin was founded 38 years ago and has three original members a**** the fifty plus current members. It was the first club chartered with the NSRA. Six members (past and current) were at the first Peoria Nat's. It's a loose-knit group with no official officers. You gotta like to drink beer, eat pizza and, of course, '48 and older cars!! Three of the HAMB andEggers are VT members and two more have attended meetings, PalosFV3 and Jim32.
Thanks Joe, I did catch the Hot Rod cl*** is Sunday. Too many thing to do on the weekends. So, WOW on Sat. Cl*** on Sunday. Are you going to join us for breakfast any time soon?
Thanks Larry for your hospitally at WOW.We really enjoyed going behind the scene and meeting other Brushmasters hard at work.It was fun getting out with our HAMB and EGG friends. As soon as I get my film developed I will post some photos for all to enjoy. The HAMB and EGGER stickers are out of this world! I feel special and I am sure everyone agrees. The favor you did to get the panel signed was just great. We will tresure it always.Your acts of kindness are never overlooked.**xooo
sounds like a great time! wished i coulda been there...ohh and larry, you forgot to send me a panel for my bday!
You're more than welcome, sweetheart. I'm so glad you guys made it down. There were quite a few HAMB & Eggers there: you and Tiger Mark, Bill Rinaldi, StuDBaker, Jim32, BlkTie, PeterPanofChicago and me. The Chicago BrushMasters raised over $50,000 (early estimate, final results in a week) for the Ronald McDonald House under construction in Oak Lawn, IL. It was an amazing weekend and I'm very proud to have been able to contribute in a small way. It was GREAT to see so many HAMBers there!! Can't wait to see your pics, Gina! In the meantime, here's a link to Gary's coverage of Saturday's action: http://www.hitechdigitals.com/gallery/brushmasters/index.html There's even a pic of your panel (by John Morely) as you were bidding on it before it was signed I'll try to post the group shot from Saturday's HAMB & Eggers' breakfast tonight.
Hopefully. We'll see how it goes this weekend. Who's the pink-haired chick? From LA Ink? I think she needs 2 haircuts with that outfit.
What a great time! Wouldn't have been near as much fun without Larry's hospitality. I had no idea the auction would create such a crowd. It was easy to see that a huge amount of effort went into the project and you guys should be proud of the dollars you raised. Thanks for the HAMB stickers too! It was nice to be able to see Larry's Facel too. Is easy to see that it was no easy project and the car looked great!
STICKERS HUH? Jeez, miss a breakfast and it turns out its the one with the cool stuff ! Well I guess thats my incentive to get out of the house early every saturday !!! Hey Larry, are there any of those fancy stickers left? I would say I would be at breakfast this week but I know you all are headin north to do a little swap meeting. I 'm sorry I'll miss that adventure but I gots to work this weekend. I'll catch youz next week for an update on the great finds. Mike
