May not be rare to some...but it took me a while to find it.

Mickey Thompson Tri-Bar spinner caps for Raders are fun to find too. I looked for about a year and then finally found two complete sets this week. I also got a set of old NHRA tri-bar spinners that look conspicuously like the M/T's. Seems like it's just certain parts that disappear from the Earth.

My list is short and simple. Shop time and a used 3x2 intake for rochesters carbs for a SBC. The later should be an EZ find. Everthing I find is $600 and has carbs on it.

    I'll throw a couple in:

    - Zephyr tail lights...

    - Decent Desoto Grill...

    - These days... anything cheap!!! I am glad I got into the 'jalopy' world a few years ago and started collecting then. My latest gander at the auction sites shocked me at how much prices have changed in just a couple of years for the same things, 2-300% increase by my count!!!

Well, I've got the valve cover and need the goddamned side cover, so it's a mexican standoff. By the way, go to the hardware and get some chrome headed bolts for that side cover!

Good luck on that one;) There were 13 cars produced, all were recalled by Chrysler to be refitted with 2 fours.... 12 came in for the swap. You do the math:D

There was one of the 13 sitting at a body shop in Ellington Ct in the 70s. A black 2 dr htp with a smashed rear quarter. It says FUEL INJECTION on the tri-colored side emblem on the quarters. This one had carbs. It was owned by a collector from NY but was abandoned at that shop for years. It dissappeared in the late 70/early80s...right after Road& Track or Motor Trend did a story on those;)

Would a matching set of 3 Edelbrock (the ones that faces upward and not canted upward and outward) aluminum spark arrestors count as rare?

How about his: Latham S# 001131 (Florida production) on top of a REAL 1958 Plymouth 350 Golden Commando, equipped with Hilborn mechanical fuel injection?

  19. For me it'd be a nice, complete magnesium Delta blower cover with swingarm. A Lenco 9" Ford quick change case would be cool too.

Yeah, the price has been stuck at 15 K since day 2 of the auction but now that it's in the final stretch..... I'm thinking that they may sell for around 20 or 25K ..

    we'll see:cool:
